someone called me and said, "your vehicle warranty is about to expire please confirm your make and model"? So I said, "What?" And they repeated that statement.  So I asked them what they were talking about and they said I had a GMC vehicle warranty that was about to expire.  I dont own a GMC. They said, "Well update our system" and hung up on me.  I tried calling that number back and it said call cannot be completed.

I began receiving calls from this number on 2/3/09.  Having received a call from a similar unrecognized area code, I answered the first call that came on this particular number.  The person said essentially "Warranty services, car year make and model please."  Recognizing a scam, I immediately hung up.  However, I've received two more calls from the same number today (I have not answered either) and decided to look into it.  Whoever this is is on an unpublished land line in Reno, NV.  See http://www.whitepages.com/10583/search/ReversePhone?full_phone=775+202+0371&localtime=survey.  

As I am sick of the calls, after I saw that others have received similar harassing calls I decided to report it to the Better Business Bureau.  I encourage everyone else to do the same; the more complaints they receive regarding this number, the more likely they are to actually do something.  In my complaint, I listed the business as "Telemarketer," the address as "State St., Reno, NV," and the zip code (confirmed on the USPS website) as "89501."  The BBB office for this "company's" location is: http://reno.bbb.org/WWWRoot/SitePage.aspx?sit ... 8e-20bcd105b89e
