No idea who this is from.......any thoughts?

Not sure, but they don't come across as being too bright.  Call and leave voicemail messages saying hello......hello?

I just got the same call.. and same thing it was a man leaving a message on the voicemail just saying hello but nothing else..

I let it go to the answering machine, and no message was left.
I'm in Massachusetts, FWIW.

Charity call for supporting American Veterans.  This is the second call in less than 24 hrs.  First one was last night (Sat) at 10:48PM second one was today at 3:10PM. I just let the ans machine pick it up both times.

It's a scam. They are not related to any Veterans fundraising organization.

they said calling about Life Saving Machine my doctor recommended. Added to my blocked phone list

Selling Medical Alert system...scammers. I tried to call the number and it is not a working number.

Received a call twice but did not leave a message.

Received call. Area code and exchange looked like a local call. <shame /> I answered. HOWEVER... All I said was a single "hello," and waited. Dead air/no pickup. I guess the call system is looking for "Hello? Hello? Is this Charlie? Hello?" Then I plugged the phone number into 800 Notes, which never disappoints. The number is now blocked.

Got a call from this Number,  No Message Left,  Caller ID said it came from a small town or city in NEvada called LUND.....which is located in White Pine Nevada,  been living in Nevada for over 30 years,  and would you believe this is the first time I have ever heard of this small town.....

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID says Lund, NV.   No message left so based on the comments above I'm blocking the number.  So tired of all the scam calls!!!

Another (or maybe the same) "veterans" group call, the second in the last day. They called my office, which ironically is the VA office of chief counsel. Even with that intro they still attempted to give me their spiel and outright lied and said they were calling from the VA. I (im)politely corrected them that my agency never solicits funds as that is a federal offense. If you're going to run a scam at least get a plausible cover story thieves.

There actually is a "Lund" in Nevada. It is about 40 miles south of Ely.  But it is a scam call. Got this one myself, also one from Sparks.
More spoofed numbers I suspect. I use a call blocker so will not be bothered by those particular numbers again. Oh by the by, I have lived in Nv for 63 years.

All these quirky calls from these small towns in Nevada.  Been here over 22 years, amazing the places you get on the caller id.
Regardless, blocking, and complaint filed with the ftc.  Love this site for info, thank you 1-800 notes.

Another call, another complaint filed, still blocked.

This guy called & asked to speak with my husband. When I asked who he was, he said his name is Jason. Then I asked him, "Jason from where?"  He replied, "Uh, no, well, uh, I'd like to get his opinion on voting for the upcoming election."
As soon as I told him my husband wasn't available, he just hung up.

Yes...5 times, my caller ID says they've called.  Just says "Lund, Nevada."  I don't answer.  I allow the answering machine to pick it up.  Doing the search and landing here, I will go to my Vonage and block them, the great thing about having Vonage service.  I wonder if any of the other landline carriers are offering the "block" option (for those of you, who may have other landline services.  May be worth checking to see.)  Only my landline has received this number, not on my cell phone.  Yet.

So sick of these annoying phone calls EVERYDAY!  Sometimes twice a day.  I have answered but no one ever speaks!  I have caller ID so now I let it go.  I want them to STOP!
