I picked up the phone and someone just breathed on the other end.You could hear sales calls going on in the background.After a few minutes they hung up.

775-241-0824.. call ID says nina hanby. ( maybe spoofed number).. dont know who that is, so didnt answer it. i dont know anyone from this phone server's area in nevada... maybe its ben cartwright? or little joe?  hoss?

Called claiming to be with Windows Computer Services stating that my computer had "malicious software" and trying to gain access to my computer....mentioned they were a scam and they tried profusely to convince me otherwise in broken english.....

A male with an accent said "Hello, I am with the windows technical department calling about your computer"

I said "I don't have one of those, I have a Mac"

He just hung up on me. LMAO

same here when I replied did not have Windows, asked what computer I had, I replied it is private and pls do not call again - this is definitely spam - and they just keep calling under different numbers

I received 2 calls from this number yesterday; 1 at 4:03 p.m. and a second one at 5:57 p.m.  I didn't answer the first call; no message was left.  When they called the second time I answered the phone and I was mad.  Some guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from Windows tech support; I told the guy I didn't have a computer; he got argumentative and said I did; I told him again I didn't then I hung up on the
*ss hole.   My CID recorded the call as "OUT OF AREA" then the number 1-775-241-0824.  My number is unlisted and also on the DO NOT CALL list yet I still get at least 8 calls like this every week; it's stupid.

The illegal telemarketers/scammers are criminals who ignore the Do Not Call List. To stop them use a call blocking device/phone (or call blocking app for your smart phone). Got the call as well. my computer had malicious files on it, they needed to check it out...right up my alley, love having fun with these people. I actually had him on the line for 30 minutes, I kept asking questions over and over again, even put him on hold once for 5 minutes. (i had some free time). Finally he was getting frustrated, and I told him to give me his cell number, and I would call him back, he gave me the "company" number.So I asked if we could start over all again, and asked him the reason for his call.  He cursed at me, and hung up...fun times

I got a call today 3-25-17 @6:10 from nina hamby (on CID) I answered and said hello, no answer...muted it and they hung up. I went to call back and it says it was disconnected...hah! looking forward to having them call back.

Got a call 3-20 @ 11:39 a.m.  Just said out of area on ID.  Answered and female with heavy East Indian accent claimed to be calling about Windows problem...I told her I would be giving her number to the State Attorney General consumer protection and fraud division and I then hung up.

Said Out of Area on id.  Same as above.  I wish there was a scammer category to check.  I don't know where these belong otherwise
