Do not recognize the number

I get calls from this number about once a week ... I never answer them so i am not sure who it is.  But, I do know they are from Nevada.

I called this number back to find out who it is.  It is a collection agency called Allied.  They were working an old Direct TV account that I owed money to.  They are very pushy and most cant speak clear english.

Called black Friday at 8:30 in the morning.   It can't be Direct TV because I do not have direct TV and I do not owe anyone money....

but whoever owned your phone number before might have some debt the agency is trying to collect...

voice mail left to call 1 800 935 5152 calling to collect a debt from Allied Interstate.  We do not owe any debt.

this person randomly called me, didnt say a word, then hung up.

they call me three to four times a day.

i get these people calling me more than six times a day as early as 7am and as late as 10pm i have kids this is not right i called back one day and threatened to charge them with harrassment. and she said we are contacting someone who had this number before me. and i said this number has been mine for a year one more call and i am pressing charges well maam it takes 24 hours to get this info update and i said no it doesn't make it happen now if you don't want me to press charges. and hung up this is not right. i have babies and every time they call they wake them up. i am sick of this

I agree with most of the other callers. I like the idea of pressing charges. I might get that Corvette yet!!!! I also know who I do and who I don't owe money to. Not surprised to see the reference to DIRECTV. It's bad enough the "we miss you" mail won't stop after I told them too. Now somebody thinks I owe them a debt. I have found that filing a report on the Do-Not-Call site has helped me in the past. Excuse me, I have to go the Do-Not-Call site now. Good day!!!

Considering I'm only 16 and the only debt I'm in is to my parents, I should not be getting these calls! Also, I'm on the do not call list!!

i also get two to four calls a day from the number 775-319-1514 or 319-1517.  they say it is about a debt.  i do not know of any debts.  they tell me it is a person i have never heard of.  i told them not to call me that it is a wrong number. they have been calling me for about 6 months still.  sometimes late at night or early mornings.  half of the time4 now if i answer to give them a peice of my mind they hang up as soon as i answer.  i tried calling the number to tell them to stop but all i get is  someone who wants all my information wh;ich i will not give or i get a voice mail qwest.  i do not know what to do.

Generic female voice advising me to call 800-935-5752 about a debt.  So far has only called once but given the comments, I expect more.

I'm on DoNot Call lists state and federal and so far as I know have no debts outstanding.

<sigh>  Why don't they get a real job?  Why doesn't the Atty Generals office take them out?

I have NO DEBT!!! Who the heck are these people??? They call my cell phone everyday but hang up when I answer!! 775-319-1517. I called them back, the message said "you have reached a business office please hold" but they never came on the line. This must be a SCAM!!!! I am going to report them to everyone I can think of.

THEY ARE ANNOYING and running up my phone bill. I need them to STOP calling my phone.

I have been getting these calls fron 775-319-1517, asking for my ex-son-in-law. They say they need me to call back about a debt. Please cease these calls

this is soo annoying, they call me last week ask for someone i dont' event know, i told them wrong #, after that they keep calling every single day 2-3 times a day. I pick up the phone hello they hang up. Sometimes, please wait we be with you shortly, guess what i'm waiting to talk to them stop calling me  but after waiting they hang up no one there. Early morning, late at night. Really angry about this # 775-319-1517

This number has called me for nearly a year. I got my phone one year ago and have told them repeatedly that the former holder no longer has this number. More than once they have said they would note that information in their files. I guess they all forgot to do that. They call at lease twice daily. Usually more often. AND...they need to learn to speak well enough to be understood.

they have called me also about diect tv asking for my ex husband. i have had my phone number for over three years. i have never had anyone call me asking for him. i have not seem this %$#@&^* in years. so i don't konw how they get his name with my number.
