Me too! No message left. When I call back, it says "Thank you for using at&t"

I answered my phone a man asked to speak w/me, I said "speaking", he repeated his request, I answered louder "speaking" and the caller hung up.

Already had 2 calls from this number today. When I answered the first call a guy asked for my husband and refused to tell me who he was or where he was calling from. I answered to the second just because I wanted to mess with them at this point. The same guy asked for my husband and when I said excuse me, he hung up.

The same thing JUST happened to me at 1:43. I think it may be a service test.

yea i just got a call from that same number and he asked for my girlfriend brittany. i told him there was no brittany at this number and he said iknow there is a brittany there are you her boyfriend. when i said why he told me how she had been cheating on me with him and that he didnt know she had a boyfriend and a child untill he saw me walk out of the house while waiting to come in. he knew our address and everything. he wouldnt give me his name or any other info about himself  and then he told me he was sorry and hung up. when i tried to call back it said the number was disconnected. i confronted my girlfriend about it and she completely denied it and i believe her. so if anyone gets any info about who these people are at this number please post it because if it was just some scam to get me to admit that there was a brittany at my number then that is some sick ass way to joke

I received three calls from this number today. I did not answer the call as the area code was not familiar. I just called the number back and it gives a recorded message about using AT&T. So weird but scary at the same time. I will continue to send their calls straight to my voice mail. Thank goodness my name is on the outgoing message. I guess they are looking to confirm information to scam someone. Be careful people!!!!

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

It is amazing that such a crooked practice is allowed to go on!
Where are the feds when I need them????? I wrote to my US Rep...no response!

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!

somone called from this number and on my caller ID it said the number and identified the caller with M091710334811687. I answered because I thought it was a telemarketer and I was going to ask to be put on their do not call list. This person was looking for my daughter and claimed to be from Express Platinum when I explainbed to him she had not filled it out. she is only 8 months old. He startwed trying to belittle me, So I cussed him out BIG TIME. Said some things I didnt know I knew. He called back and threatned me to call the proper authorites with the recorded conversation...lol. WShen I tried calling these numbers he called me from, the recording said this number is no longer in service. By the way the second number was 302-555-4444 with caller ID of V09171029291687

My call wasn't from AT & T, mine said it was from Verizon.  Could depend on who your carrier is.  Anyway, no message, no name, no talk 2.

Left no message the first time, but called less than five minutes later then I answered. Said they were from express credit card company and I was approved for $ 5500 limit with 0% apr and reports to credit bureau every month. Needed to set up payment for $99 enrollment fee in next week and card would be in mail. the call was disconnected some how and when I tried to call back it said welcome to sprint long distance 5130. This was my cell phone btw.

Some lady called saying I was approved for a $5500 credit card limit.  I knew it was scam so I let her go on and on, reading her script.  I got a call earlier in the day from the exact phone number, so I knew what was going on.
I asked her if it was a Master Card or Visa, because I was actually looking for a Visa, or maybe American Express and she said "oh yes, this is an Express Platinum. I said, Oh, is that a branch of American Express? (lol, playing dumb), and she said no, it's your own separate credit card.
I said, well, how can I get a Credit Card with no APR or interest, and can I use this card at an ATM. She didn't answer me really, she just said I can't use the card at a ATM.  So I said "Oh , so this isn't a real Credit Card? Then where am I suppose to use it"?  
She got snooty and said "yes, of course this is a real credit card".  Ok, then WHERE CAN I USE IT?
She said "at any of our retailers".  
I asked which retailers are theirs.  She said "their company" has an online store and they buy from a whole different bunch of outlets and warehouses to fill their store.  I said "so how will I know if you actually have anything I would want to purchase".   She said, "well, we have a website".
I sounded excited and asked her if I could look at the website first AND SHE SAID... OMG.. (such an idiot), "Well, if my 7yr old can look at the website I would hope you could".!  Umm.. I asked TO SEE the website and to know the www.

Seriously? I never did find out the website.  I was tired of playing and I hung up.

Gentleman *dirt bag* called asking for my son - I told him to stop calling my number - He then threatened me telling me he was taking my son to jail ( would not be his first trip there)  for not paying a PayDay Loan (which my son does not have a loan) and was going to have me arrested for hiding a fugitive .. I busted out laughing - I explained to him that here in Texas its against the law for him to threaten anyone due to a collection - the number will now be blocked from my phone as i have to find a place to hide from the cops ;)  haha.. needed a laugh for the day

this  no. has  called  several times,  i do not  answer unknown, toll free,s or un availables, and then are  careful with no. i think i know. they really want to talk to me thecan leave a MESSAGE. ITS my  choice to talk to them or not.

They are rude and obnoxious....do not leave messages.  I told them I wasn't interested and he said i was ridiculous.

be ware they some how have had my account number and wanted my routing number to vierfiy my funds in my account.

Been getting calls from this number didn't answer the first few times no message left, then answered the last two times and no response from the caller.  scam

got a call from 775-700-8000, when I answered a got a recording sayin "Im sorry, that number is not valid", except that I didnt dial the number, it dialed me.

Calls and asks for me or will say 'what for the next available operator.'  calls several times a day.

I got a call from this number several times today and a few times it was two or three times back to back to back.....When I tried to call the number back it said it was sprint long distance service 51875......Does anyone know who this is this is getting truly annoying
