Received call. Said Hello. Nothing. After a couple seconds line switched. Caller with foreign accent asked for me. I asked who was calling. Couldn't understand him. When asked him to repeat several times, he hung up.

I got a call, really creeped me out. Usually when I pick up for this number, they hang up. This time, I picked up, and then I heard ringing, and the person that picked up on the other end was my friends mother.

Anybody have an explanation?

Received a call from 777-888-9999 two days in a row.  Did not answer the call.  Let it go to voicemail, but no message was left. Called the number back from a cell phone and received message that it was not a working number.  The origin of the call is definitely suspect.

I have been getting calls from this number 777-888-9999-for a week now, usually two or three times a day. If anyone knows what is going on with this and how to stop it I would like to know.

I get a call from this number on my cell at least 2 times a day.  Sometimes I answer it and there's no answer and sometimes the phone rings once and hangs up.  I have answered it before and it was ringing.  I'm getting real annoyed.  I don't know the answer of who it is or why they call.

The 777-888-9999 number calls my cell at least four time a day, and this has been going on for over a month now. I have tried to call the number back and I get told thats not a working number. I would like to know who this is and how they got my phone number.

Got a call from this number and I think it is something to do with a scam or id theft or casing your house by phone to see if there is anyone home. If it happens for a week or more and you don't answer maybe you'll get something unexpected either or I will figure out what or who it is. Don't know but if it keeps happening I'm go to the FBI, they'll get to the bottom of it or top and take action.

Just called right now. After saying "hello" in my normal voice I got nothing. So I screamed. And not just screamed, you could hear me outside my house. Someone talked and it sounded like the male voice was from India. Stated that this was the first time he called this number. Well someone from this number has been calling for 2 days now. My guess was that it was some scam. So if you get this call, screamed into the phone.

Do not encourage or let him know you are intimidated at all---Just hang up--If he gets to  you--Well, that would be his main goal--He seeks the weak--and, alone.   Just hang up.

To scramble our caller id.  It works and he has a license to do it.  Isn't our government wonderful--This creep is like soooo anti American anyway---Of  course he's getting away with it.

do most of you live in florida that are receiving this call? i live in indiana and I just got it. I noticed someone mentioned st cloud florida thats why i asked.

I live in Illinois and have received two calls from this number, (777-888-9999), in a half hours time frame.
I didn't pick up the phone either time.

i'm tired of all this weirdness...reading your email has freaked me out...i just recieved the call here in west palm beach @ 10:54am...what's the deal...i ansered the phone after 4 rings dead air then hung up!?!?! tired of these bizaare calls...

just had these people call my house and i was not home they asked for me and it was in refrence to an auto loan, and they wanted my information on a loan i don't have. NEVER give people information. Was very abrupt with my husband when he answered the phone and said he was my husband. These people are trying to con you out of something. Please be forewarned.
