- Cathy| 1 replyKeeps phoning no messages left
- melii| 1 replySame here...3 calls, no messages over past week.
- MapleCalls several times a day, doesn't leave a message.
- LMCall several times a day never leaves a message
- VictoriaCalls and doesn't leave a message. Am suspicious it is something to do with cbv collections who do the same thing from many other numbers which can be traced back to them. From what I have read online from others experiencing the same annoyance, best to block or ignore them.
- Victoriap.s. And yes, myself and others were Not in arrears for any payments, but may be related to or know someone they are calling about, or you may have been 'fortunate' enough to have a new phone number which once belonged to a person they were looking for.
- LeslieThis number calls daily (I have call display), they do not leave a message. Today I answered, dead air, no one there as far as I could tell although that didn't stop me from saying what I thought of them. It's very annoying, being on the Canadian do not call list seems meaningless as I get far too many of these types of calls.
- JoanCalled here and it was from the liver foundation asking for donations.

- FrankAppears to be from the old scammer/fundraiser Xentel. Xentel is now iMarketing Solutions Group INC. AKA iMark Connect www.imarketingsolutionsgroup.com and lately: IMark Events Inc 601 - 80 Bloor St. W. Toronto, Ontario M5S 2V1 PH: 416-646-3133. Of course you are the mark not them. They usually call claiming to be from some charity or police group raising funds on behalf of them. They have been fined close to half a million by the CRTC for calling people on the DNC List and failing to announce out front that they are fundraisers and NOT the charity they claim to represent. This is illegal. In spite of the fines they are still cruising along merrily. So please report them again so they can get yet more fines and hopefully be shut down. By the way fundraisers are only required by law to give 10% of what they collect to the charity. They keep 90% for their greedy selves which is why they don't tell you they are fund raisers. That law needs to be changed also reversing the percentage in favor of the charity. Please give directly to the charities themselves and not these weasels. thank you

- AnonymIn addition to the above if you go to their website you see that these people donate your hard earned money that they scammed from you to "right of center" or right wing parties such as the Conservative Party in Canada which is why under the Harper administration they have been riding high.

- JOAnswered because it was a local area code. No caller ID. Dead air for a moment before a surprised guy spoke up - apparently surprised that someone actually picked up. Surprised and so,so smarmy!. Started some spiel, the gist of which was that he was looking to take my money. I don't do telephone donations or front door donations - EVER. He kept talking despite my trying to get his attention. So I hung up.
Someone said this is Xentel - had I known that I would not have answered and would block the caller. They are the scummiest of bottom feeders in my opinion.- Caller: Scum
- Leslie778-219-0439 called my home number, no voice message was left. I've had many calls from this number, I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. I called this number back just now, got a voice message, it's the Canadian Liver Foundation. However it's most likely a company calling on behalf of them looking for donations. It's my understanding that those call centres keep a large portion of any amount pledged. Hence I do not give donations over the phone.
- Caller: Canadian Liver Foundation Call Centre
- KC E.Similar experience, multiple calls, any time of day, let it go to the machine and always a hang-up.
- Emily in Langford replies to CathySame thing happening to me
- Josh B.Recieved call from this number at 12:30pm. Woman acted surprised that I answered. Presented script about Liver disease and infants. Claimed to be from the Canadian Liver Foundation. It didn't matter what I said, she was so stuck to the script it had guessing whether or not I was actually talking to a real person. I explained I wouldn't be donating today and she ignored me. I said it again and she hung up on me.
- Caller: Claims to be Canadian Liver Foundation
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- AngelaI received a call from this number at 1pm today and I usually don't answer numbers that I don't know but, I decided to answer and I said hello...no answer. I said hello again and a very surprised woman came on and said it's nice to talk to a live voice..She said she's been getting answering machines all day. She then says that she is a representative for the Canadian Liver Foundation looking for people to donate as young children are needing donations to help with cures for liver disease...i told her that I didn't have the money at this time and she continued to press me for a donation of $35-$40 to help these children. I told her again that I didn't have the money to donate and she kept talking over me so i hung up.

- ZahraReceived call at my work place from this number, lady spoke saying nice to talk to a live voice, and further she explained how horrible it's to get a liver disease in young age and they are collecting money for research, i knew it was a scam but i wanted to see what happens at the end, she gave me 3 amount option to pay $180,$130, or $80, i said $80, she transfered me to another lady who was suppose to be a collector, i asked if i could get their website to make a online donation, she said what website? i asked don't you guys have a website of liver search foundation? she said wait a sec and hang up
- Caller: scam claim they are from Canadian Liver foundation
- Marshell| 1 replyI telephoned the liver foundation, to ask them if this person, who called me from 778-219-0439 was legit. The lady from the Liver Foundation told me they hired this telemarketer company to help them with donations. The lady telemarketer from this company was arrogant, aggressive and pressuring me, saying that little kids are getting liver disease and you need to donate to help them. I told her I am going to call the Liver Foundation and ask if she was legit and she tried to get me to hang on the phone and transfer my call to another department. I hung up and called the Liver Foundation and I asked them why they would hire an aggressive telemarketer; so they could get money donations, starting at over 100 dollars? She said I could give her my name and number and they would check into it, I refused and hung up! I am now thinking, why is the Liver Foundation using a telemarketing company to seek out donations for them, instead of approaching social media or do it themselves. You would think that, after paying the telemarketer company, that would be less donated money for the Liver Foundation. There is a sucker everyday and it is not me! Use your common sense and never give out your credit card or donate money to a telemarketing company.

- BigA replies to MarshellThe call center they hired gets as much as 98 to 99 cents out of every dollar you donate for "expenses". These are outfits set up to enrich the call center owners and not give anything worthwhile to the charity.
- Lilly replies to meliiI answered this phone number because it had the local area code, wondering if it was my friend. A lady started talking, saying she was so happy I picked up beachside no one else had answered (smart for them). She said she was from the Canadian Liver Foundation, and she was wanting to get donations from me. She said she wanted 160$ for lab research. She then started listing larger donations I could do. I tried getting her attention but she kept talking, I told her I had to go but she kept asking questions and giving me donation suggestions. I hung up and hoped she would never call again.
