They have several different phone numbers including 1800 numbers, 1855 numbers and a few more 778 numbers. Get a call blocker and you'll be good :)

This is a FAKE (phony) number for a DEBT collection company. This number will show up on your phone but then the message will tell you to call 866 387 8751. Plus they are lying about it being GOOD news. They say this so you will call them back. They also act all cheery & happy like you won something. This is actually against the law. They are suppose to state who they are, who they are calling on behalf of, a reference number also the amount of the debt. Even though it is against the law there is very little that can be done except to block them. B.C's Consumer Protection office is a joke. Our government is to busy taking from the poor & giving to the rich to care about the abuses of debt companies. So cell phone users BEWARE of phony debt collection numbers & lying debt  collectors.....To find out the laws concerning DEBT companies look up DEBT Canada website. Just received a call from this number. The man on the other end of the phone was humming. Very odd. I hung up right away.

CBV Collections. Endless calls numerous times a day with only dead air. Super annoying. If you call the same number back, you can stay on the line to talk to someone to be removed. Takes 24 hours apparently but we will see. Information they are using is years old as the person they are looking for hasn't had this number in several years. Apparently they don't require any kind of verification of the number beforehand, and harass people who were unlucky enough to get the phone number of some loser who obviously changed his number years ago after he racked up all the debt (as if he'd really keep the same number and just keep fielding their calls??) Ug.

I'm still not 100% sure if this is a fake company or not -- but they called me, said I owed $1500 to Telus, and refused to tell me anything else...I do not have a Telus account...

Trying to collect on a debt that's over 10 years old. Sorry but the statute of limitations is only 2 years in Ontario. These guys are hilarious and I dare them to serve me with papers to take legal action!

Does the call blocker work to block all of their number they call from? Because they have called from at least 8 different numbers and each time I block the number they call from, they call from another one.

This number calls at least 3 times a day and start at 8am to 8pm. So tired of this cause I don’t  owe anybody. How do I get this to stop

They called me 3 times today, on the back ground they sound like Indians or Pakistanis

i just got a call from then few mins ago and I never answer the call and don't u ever call me again and I know it is scammer and if that happen again I will be calling the police

Your caller is not affiliated with this website, which is simply to help identify unknown phone numbers, so your caller will never see your request to "don't u ever call me again" or your threat to call the police. Who, by the way, can't do anything about unwanted phone calls.

Just got a call from this number. They refused to give me a company name saying they could not give me any information. Luckily my phone tells me when it's a fraudulent or spam call

I didn't answer and blocked this number. They called 12+ times within a day...
