got a call that he was representing a program called Cops for Kids to help them from getting harassed
on email. He was a bit rude when I declined making a donation. When I called this number  she said it was
the police association. Here's some good protection....turn the computer off.

This number calls me every day. I have an unlisted number. Very annoying!!!!

Yea I Received one of these two, asking for donations of 100$, 200$, or 300$ for kids getting bullied. Said he was from Canadian Police Association, had that robot sound to his voice. Likely to sound like a telemarketer and not a fraudster. I told him to try back another time. He said his job was to match donors with donation amounts they feel comfortable with.

I guess they spoof the caller ID, get a donation, and while they're at it use your credit card for some donations to their wallet as well. Just hang up. Ever since I got a telus 1800 # for work ice had nothing but scam and spam calls. Good job selling the list of your "prized" business customers telus.

This number called us again today. They hang up before saying anything and before I can get to the phone.
Why call? Just to be a nuisance to us, and annoy us further with unwanted telephone calls, not to mention the noise this makes within our quiet home environment.

I've had several calls from this number, silent if I answer.  Silent, as in no dial tone.

Today 5 pm, yesterday just after 9 am and other times I don't remember, last week or so.

Got a call from this number, hung up before it went to voicemail. Based on the notes on this site it seems like whoever is calling from the number is trying to pull a scam.

Got a call  from ..CPA ? Asking for money !!

Got this in Prince George BC Canada...  Recorded message started with a pleasant "oh hello Sir, this is a recorded message"  it then informed me that they have just started their RCMP Fundraising drive...  I instinctively said "huh?"  It started to talk again and the line went dead.  WTF?  Was this a scam costing money for answering the phone?  Ummm

keeps phoneing  everyday saying its police bussiness  so i hang up samething next day now i dont pickup.

this person is a guy. we live in surrey BC and i dont have any idea how they got our number. my niece age 5, answered the call (speaker phone) the guy said can i talk to ur mom or dad? then my niece said daddy is not here and mommy is busy.. the guy hang up. so creepy

Guess they dont know criminal offence to impersonate police.

This number has called everyday for the past two weeks, three times today. They never leave a message. From previous posts I find it ironic that the cause they are trying to promote and raise funds for is the very thing they are doing. Bullying affects all ages and walks of life; different titles.

I am so sick of this number calling my land line every day  sometimes 3times a day and evening .isnt there something that can be done? The one time I answer they hang up.
