Calls from Stats Canada
They use a large range of numbers in their outbound calls.  Likely each and every desk in the call centre has it's own direct number.

It's a legit call from Stats Canada; not a prank or spam, but their insistence is quite annoying.

It's a real survey. When you answer, you can decline to take part in the survey.  They've been calling my cell in Vancouver for a few weeks now, but hadn't answered until now.  I hope that since I declined to take the 40 minute survey on my cell phone, that they will not call again.

They have been calling me at least twice a day for WEEKS. I finally relented and started the survey. After 30 mins we called it quits. Feeling quite harrassed snd unsatisfied by the whole experience. Tried to be a helpful citizen but felt like they took a mile.

Hmmm.. Called my cell last night, Sunday at 9:17pm. I said no I was not interested in doing their survey and hung up. I called it back, a woman answered the phone, "HELLO". When answering the phone she did not answer saying she was with Statistics Canada until I asked her if she knew of the calling laws. I do not care who they are, they have no right to call people at 9:17pm on a Sunday and to boot, eat up my air time on my cell.

IF this is legit.....there should be a way for us to complain about the harassment!!!!
