It's Statistics Canada calling conducting surveys.

Says she is Statistics Canada calling.  Phones me at 9:35 PM . I don't appreciate being disturbed by an unknown caller , especially that time of night.  Don't call again!

Say it is Stats Canada doing a survey regarding senior housing.   Did not know my name, only had ph. number.  Asked questions as to where I live and my marital status.  Started to sound phony so I decided to leave the call.  They intend to call me back..... but I won't answer.

Since posting last comment I have received a letter from Stats Canada explaining that I have been selected for the survey.  So it looks like these calls are legit.  They are running the survey from Edmonton which explains the area code.  Don't know how they made "selections"

Got a call saying they are calling about census. Asking a bunch of questions that do not seem to have anything to do with census.
