long pause when i asnswered the phone i had to say hello twice before there line became active, always signals a telemarketer for me.  When i presssed them for information of the buisness and what it was in regards to they became rude and abruptly ended the call.

Called back this number  Canadian Council for the blind. They have also
called on  866-894-2118.  I am registered on the do not call list but
they just keep changing numbers.

If they are a registered charity, government, Newspaper etc. they are allowed to call... no matter how many times you tell them not to!

They are beligerent and call constantly.  I don't pick up the phone any more.  Not a way to solicite charitable donations.

They would not speak to me.

All of these within the last 2 weeks....apparently I have a bad number!

called twice,  some collection to apparently purchace computer systems for blind kids, thier suggested donations start at $300.00..  If I had $300 for my own kids....

Had to say hello twice before someone responded. Looking for donations towards computers or computer donations for blind children. I said that I would make a donation towards the computers which she then said she had to transfer my call to a secure line. This person assured me the line was secure and she was not going to need the number on the back on the card and that no one should ask for it. Regardless, I asked for a donation kit to be mailed out to me, which she said she understood and wanted me to feel comfortable about donating. Both women were very polite.

I receive calls everyday from 780-669-2134.  Today I call the number myself and got an answering machine that directed me to call 1-800-525-9418.  I called there, selected the option to be put on their do not call list.  Guess I will wait and see what happens..sigh...

These people called - they claimed they were asking for donations for the CCB,   I asked if they were third party soliciting donations and she said "yes".  I asked to be put on their do not call list.   If you want to give donations to such organizations,  please donate directly to the organization so that slimy telemarketers don't reduce the amount of money available to the organization.

Just silence on the line.  What a waste of time and money.

I regularly get telemarketers calling my house, but seeing as this was a local number (for me) *and* they left a message, I was very curious. Especially after hearing the message that was on my machine when I got out of the shower.
Message: Long pause, followed by some faint background music(?), followed by "UP YOURS", then they hung up.
Uh, what?
Wow.

I'm still laughing, actually.

I just call a call from this number. i donated last year and this year, the guy was really trying to get me to donate. Asked if i could donate 250, i say no. then said this is the 66th anniversary of the CCB and if i could donate 66, and again i said no. Asked if i could donate 25 and i said i'm not going to donate this year. Then he just hung up. What a dink. Just try and call next year and see what happens.....

Please stop calling.

I have unlisted number and am on Do Not Call list.  Good Campaign strategy to not say anything. Way to annoy voters
