Robot dialer from someone in Alberta. I'm on the do not call list, so this call should be illegal.

"Because you are a recent Canadian Tire customer, you can receive 3000 travel dollars. To accept press 1." or some crap like that.
I immediately hung up.

"Travel dollars" ha? Rriigghtt....
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM, QUALITY SCAM !! ! ! ! ! !

This just called me and said "because you are a bell canada customer, you can receive 3000 travel dollars.  To accept press 1"  I sat there for a few seconds and then it hung up.  They called my cell phone.  Stupid scammers!

Called on my my cell phone and said "because you are a Rogers customer, you can receive 3000 travel dollars.  To accept press 1".  I hit the hang-up button immediately.

I got it too as a Rogers Customer.... i thought...hmmm travel dollars ? whatever Rogers wants to give me stuff but it's all a 3 year plan i don't need travel dollars that bad - then googled it and got your guy's info about it being a scam-

I just got it 12:19 BC time

Missed this call to my cell phone just after 6pm this evening. No message left.

call came in on my cell phone did not answer for no name showed up just the number.  They never left a  message since was long distance googled the number and viola seems this number is a scam.  I got rid of my house home to stop these telemarketers not they calling cell phones yay

both of us received the same call ......mine was for canadian tire and my friends was for telus....luckily both of us just hung up.....there should be a way to stop these sumbags from getting our numbers...mine is an unlisted number.....not a very good system if you ask me...

I just got a call from that number ( 10-27-2010, 1:39pm)  and I did not answer the call because I simply don't feel comfortable answering calls from numbers I don't know. If they want tor reach me they should leave a message but this number did not and now I understand why.

I just got a call 2 minutes ago saying I have got a free vacation package and asked me the age...I asked them where you are calling, they then hung up.
