Asking lots of personal investment info
Then wanted cell number and email

Calls constantly telling me I won lots of money  $ a car but have to pay $500.00.
I keep hanging up or don't answer but he has various phone # numbers .  I told him I reported
this harassment and hoax to police...says he's some form of cop himself.
Goes under Mr Maxwell This is app a month and still ongoing

called couple times, but hang up after I said "Hello".

Received phone call this evening, asked for me by name.  
Asked all sorts of info about interest in investing.  Asked for cell #, and email address, and age.
Told me someone would call back tomorrow.

Phone call at 6:49 pm this evening, asked for my husband by name.
I asked who was calling, several times... he finally said he was James O'Neil from Equity Services
Told him my husband was busy and whatever he was selling we aren't interested.

Phone call at 1:57 pm...I said hello, twice...no response so I hung up!

Called twice in two days asking for my husband. Hung up on me on the first day when I asked who was calling. Second time I asked him why he hung up on me the day before. He denied hanging up and told me his name was Charlie Somersault.....then hung up on me again.

780-955-4517 called two days in a row..  When answered, nothing.   Idiots!

They have called me 2 days in a row, just asking to speak to the home owner. I keep hanging up at that point

Just one of several "unknown" "unavailable" callers - I don't answer but they are beyond annoying.  Wish there was a way to charge them for these unwanted calls.

I am called daily by these fraudsters.  I asked to be escalated to a supervisor.  She claimed that the company is Equity Information Services and the boiler-room is based in San Jose Costa Rica.  I then engaged in a debate regarding the use of a fraudulent "spoofed" Alberta telephone number.   When I told her that I was on the "do not call" list, she said they have a right to call me because they perform "market research" and is permitted under the CRTC's DNCL rules.  I told her that once an individual asks a telemarketer to remove them from their calling lists, they must comply.

This is a real problem.  The CRTC and National DNCL administrator have no comprehension of how to deal with these scofflaws.  The CRTC chairman is too busy worrying about Canadians having access to Superbowl TV commercials.

Have received two calls in two days. Gave two different names. When my wife asked who they were he said he was a school friend. When asked which school he hung up.

Man with a rude tone called asking for my husband yesterday.

When I asked who was calling, he hung up.

Two more calls from that same number today but caller would not identify himself (different voice).

Received a call from these people who knew my first name and they claimed to be Equity Information Services. I told them I wasn't home and the prick hung up. I looked up Equity Information Services and found OPSEU

So they are impersonating a powerful Ontario Public Service Union. I am e-mailing them the phone number and complaining.

Got a call from same number asking for my husband. Told them he can be reached at this number, and I gave him the number of my local police department! Lol..so far they have not called back! Lol

These yahoos called last week phishing for credit card info.....when I would not comply they told me they would cancel my card... I said fine.
Called again today looking for my hubby by name.    ...I said What I have a husband? They hung up on me

This number called yesterday and asked for my husband when I said he wasn't home they hung up. They called again today asking for him. I said he wasn't home and asked to take a message. He said they just want him to do a survey so I said he isn't interested. He replied with "how do you know if he isn't home" so I said because I am his wife and we do not like these kinds of phone calls his response pissed me off he said "Oh I'm sorry for him to have a wife like you"

Received a phone call from this number.  When I picked up the phone, a man asked to speak with P.  I asked him if I can I take a message and he just hung up.  The person did not identify himself and where he was calling from.  Please be careful when giving out your name, address, credit card and ANY personal information.  Even your cell phone number and email address.

Has been calling daily since Saturday.  The person asked for my husband by name saying he was from Equity.  He asked me a couple of personal questions about him which I just repeated he wasn't in.  Three days of daily calls coming up as missed called and no message left.  Yesterday, someone from that number left a message of just laughing.  I blocked the number.  It called again today but didn't get through the block.  I'm reporting to CRTC.
