I was called by an automated call generator warning me that the warranty on my automobile is set to expire soon and that I need to talk to them, by pressing a number, or the account will be closed.  My only auto has been out of warranty for several years now.

I, and everyone who works at my business, have been receiving this "auto out of warranty call."  I am sick of it and the feds need to shut these suckers down

I got a second automated call from this number saying that my car warranty has expired.

Well, it has not expired.

Who is the scumbag behind these calls?

How can he be brought to justice?

Someone called me and I heard nothing on the other line. However, this is not the first time I have received this call from this number, it's a automated message warning me that the factory warranty on my car is about to expire. WTF... I have a brand new car with a brand new warranty. What kind of scam is this???

same here.. I get these calls all the time on my home number and I used to get it on my old cell number and now I've started getting it on my 1 month old cell number..who is giving away numbers?

For the past 2 months I have been getting calls from this number telling me my warranty is about to expire...I'm getting sick of these repetitive calls. Someone needs to drop kick these telemarketer companies.

My daughter has been called MULTIPLE times by this and it usually goes to her voicemail. She is 12 and does not won a car. it's an automated message asking to renew or buy an extended warranty.

was just called by this number and the phone was silent. call lasted about 10 seconds and then they hung up. im guessing it was the same telemarketer call as others have listed.

i just received the call from this number.. it happens at least twice a month.

I just got this mesage at 6:40. I'm 13 and don't even know how to drive!
So the company that is sending these mesages needs to be brought to reality!!

Just got a call from (781) 270-038. I did not recognixe the number so I let the ans. machine get it then a hang up. One minute later my phone rang again, Private number came up on id. I called the number back and got a not in service recording.  ANNOYING

See above. Just thought of it, answer the phone and keep them on the line for as long as possible thus wasting their time

have recieved many calls over last months.  last was at 3:26 on 2/20/09.  I'm in area code 805- California.

If you google just the number, it comes up as a residential one.  There has to be a law aginst such schemes... I agree with Ronie here!!!

They called me 3 times in class today. I am a student with a brand new car that i know is still under warranty! its so annoying. How do they get my cell numbers?

What a bunch of annoying idiots. I'm always getting these car warranty calls.

I just got this call - I am in CA and just hooked up a brand new cell.  So how the heck did this person get my number?  I finally connected the dots today.  I edited my ad in Auto Trader to put my new number down as the contact for my vehicle.  This is where these damn annoying spammers are getting their numbers....
