Phone call from this number today, with caller ID of "Cognos Corp". No one on the line when I picked up. Odd.

Caller ID said "Cognos Cor".  Didn't leave a message.

that number called me ,left no message.tired of people calling and not leaving a message.

9pm call - no one there.

This is all true.  however, I believe that the Caller ID name "Cognos Corp." is not the actual caller; that it has been spoofed.  The phone number is different from Cognos Corporation's business number and this company would leave a message if their call went unanswered.  And certainly their rep. would speak to someone who did answer the phone.  Another scam artist at work here!

Third call from "Cognos Corp" without a message left. Three strikes means you're out: Number now blocked here.

Caller claims to represent "Be Green" a notorious scammer trying to sell solar panel systems.

The caller ID was Cognos .. the guy claimed to represent "Clean Energy" and that Cognos was his intenet provider and that he got our number from the town clerk. He "didn't like my attitude" when I told him spoofing was a federal offense .. and then he hung up...

I answered and a male voice asked for my husband. I said he was not at home and asked if I could take a message. He asked if I was Mrs. P and when I replied "yes", he disconnected the call.

The caller id read Cognos Corp. Damn autocorrect.

Caller id shows cognos corp.  781-313-2868....Calls all day long....Rings three times then hangs up...Leaves no message....Cognos corp. Is an original business but i don't think this number pertains to them....Not sure why a software company would be calling me.  Sounds like a scam!  Can't somebody stop them?

They are telemarketers selling "home improvements in our area".  I asked the guy to take us off of the call list and he hung up on me.  Called the number back and left a voice mail.  They have been reported to the Do Not Call.gov.  Losers.

Cognos was acquired by IBM so if they call it will be as IBM. This is a scam call.

The caller ID says Cognos but it's not really Cognos. They are trying to push solar products through an energy survey. I was polite twice and asked to be removed from the list but they just keep calling so I've added them to my call blocker list. If you have Xfinity phone service you can call block with *60 then follow two simple prompts. You have to add every 10 digit number to be blocked but it works.

Just got a call from Cognos Corp.  Answered, no one there and heard the click, they hung up,
Why call, if their just going to hang up. Called them back and got the answering machine saying their
business hrs are from 8am to 5pm and to leave a message....I said someone called me just now
and hung up and didn't like it and not call me back that I wasn't interested in what they were selling

They hung up after two rings.  After reading above posts, I blacklisted them.

It keeps calling, too in the past months.
