I have no idea who this is and when I call back the line is busy.

I've had this on my caller ID a bunch of times recently.  The ID says Production Mark and when I answered the phone is hung up.

multiple calls from this number. never a message.

This person or company calls everyday and hangs up.

This man calls up (after researching YOUR local-area fund-raising groups), pretends to BE from that fund-raising group, and asks you to write a check in support of [said fund]. He then says to leave it on your door..."someone will be driving by to pick up the check within the next day".

He will even go as far as asking you to put "for deposit only" on the back of the check. What this man does is simply open up a bank account in the name of your local [said fund], so he can quickly deposit your checks and gather your money. Just as quickly, this man will close this account and your money is, *poof*, gone and stolen. Cannot be recovered.

He is NOT registered for fund raising with the Attorney General of Massachusetts.

After receiving many calls with no message from this # I did a search and came to this website. I answered the phone tonight and, just as the above posting says, this guy claimed to be from the Seahawks fund raiser. I asked him for a number to call back and he told me his phone can only make outgoing calls. He figured out what was going on quick, said he would call back tomorrow and hung up.

I got a call from this guy tonight.  He asked to speak with myself or my wife.  I told them neither was home.  He was like "well who is this then?" I told him it was none of his business and he quickly hung up.

I just got a call from this number too asking for my wife.  I said shes not there, is there a message he said no and hung up.  is there a person to report this to?

I received a call from them asking to leave a check outside on the door for a charity. It sounded phony and I am glad I checked out the number on this site.

I just received one and I did not pick up.  Thanks for the heads up.  If this guy is really a scam artist, it would be easy enough to trap him.

Every day we get a call from the above number and another number 5005. As others have said, tried picking up phone. No answer. Cannot phone back.
Although one day I phoned back and it kept ringing and ringing...then went to busy signal.

The company is Production Marketing Services.  It is located on Route 1 in Norwood, MA.  I have no idea what they want, but they keep calling back with different phone numbers.

I kept receiving phone calls and and a man asked for donations for police and fire. Being a Reserve Deputy in my County I notified the Police in Norwood, MA and I spoke to an Officer Doherty.  I would strongly suggest notify the Norwood Police Department.  I don't know why I also keep getting phone calls and then hang-ups, however this person now will get his own piece of action.  I hope!  The Atty General will be notified tomorrow.  I hope this is the end of this company know as: Production Marketing Services, 1420 Boston Providence Turnpike, Norwood, MA 02062.  I am sick an tired of fakes preying on the public.  I would suggest that everyone that receives a call contact the Norwood authorities.

Annoying calls from this group again and it is very concerning and bothersome to me and my family. I have two children and this is not righ!  This person will not stop and my phone is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!

this guy has been calling with no one on the other end, so tonight i started picking up and saying police dept. this line is recorded   maybe this will stop him

Got calls from this guy last year, just got another one. Claims to be collecting for the Seahawks (local hockey team). Caller ID says Pro Marketing.

I got a call from this number 617-581-6729  telling me the same directions  like putting the check in the envelope and put deposit only on the back.  I said I couldn't donate but he was very persistent.  I called the number back and it was busy.  I noticed people are getting the same call.  I knew something was strange with  this call.  I know times are hard but these scams are getting ridiculous,  no one is going to want to donate anymore.

The phone number on my phone was 781-702-5004.  I never answered the call but looked it up to report it.  I hope the Norwood Police can stop them.  I'll be writing to the Atty. General's office too.
