Called didn't answer. Not sure what this is for.

My teenage niece keeps getting called from this same number on her cell phone and when she calls it back no one ever answers.

Keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number and they are looking for someone else. Wish they'd quit calling.

Calling to collect for Providence Medical Center where I have never been.

This is a Collection Agency People, he works for many other collection agencys, like Berlin Wheeler when they cant collect they get him to do it because he is a Attorney who may take people to court for not paying there accounts. and if you want the phone calls to stop, call the number back during business hours M-F 8-5. ive noticed his system is automated on the weekends so it does you no good to call the number back on the weekends. good luck

These people are continually calling my house. They leave voice messages like "call back regarding an important business matter." I found out they were a collection agency HOLLINS H. KENT in Kansas, by looking on the internet. We have no debts, and what bills we have ...are PAID every month!! I've also tried to call them back.. guess if they don't call me, I'll have to try again, this is getting ridiculous.

they called me and i am glad they did b/c i had moved and i needed to get bills taken care of, i owed them i will pay them i just didnt know where to find them. the people that work there are the nicest people ever, they try to work with you and your situation. i thank god for an attny like kent hollins and the people who work for him.

They called my phone (probably about my deadbeat ex-spouses debts; when I answered they hung up - this office uses this ploy to get YOU to pay any long distance charges that run up while they do not help you resolve whatever issues they are hounding you about.

If you return their call be prepared to deal with an extremely irritating automated answering system that will eventually direct your call to one of his employees.  You will never actually speak with this shark until you are in court, and maybe not even then - many/most/nearly all of his court appearances are made by para-legals.  Even other attorneys do not get to speak with this jerk until they are in the court room so don't be too rushed to hire representation.

It is this office's standard position that your monthly payments must be high enough to pay off the debt within 6 months to a year even if it would leave you homeless.  If this is your financial position, make them take you to court and the judge will order a payment schedule that is reasonable
- - - they count on you being afraid of court to bully you into agreeing to ridiculous payment schedules.

This number continuously calls my direct line at work and they aren't even looking for me, it's for someone else! I have pushed 4 to be removed I don't know how many times and when I call, even during the day, I can't get through.

Just a little tip for everyone too...in the state of KS a company can attempt to collect on a debt for several years...however they can NOT take you to court after 3 years. This is for your basic debt, Credit Card etc. If they do threaten you with court and it is past the time frame don't let them bully you. Times are hard for everyone right now and the last thing any of us needs is some jerk threatening what we do have.

ok we just moved and i keep getting calls ....i work as a bill collector and i know according to the f.d.c.p.a they can not continue to call if you tell them to cease calls !!!!! next time they call even if the call is for you ....record them and yourself telling them to cease calls !!! if they call you you can sue up to 1000.00 each violation !!!!! its sunday at 9 am and they have already called me 4 times ...they are not even looking for me they are looking for the last person who lived here !!!!! i can wait for them to call again !!!!!! im done messing with these people !!!!

I have recieved several call from kent hollins office. I actually got a bogus warrant put out on me from them saying I didn't appear in court. I had proof from the cour house i did but couldn't get that info till after i paid $100 to bond out of jail. two days later i recieved a garnishment letter. I took them to court to get it dropped or for a lesser amount. They dropped it and set up payment arrangments. I was to pay $75 a month at the end of every month. Today i went to take money out of my account and i was -$1. My bank told me 65.20 was taken from my account for a garnishment. I was livid. I am calling them tomorrow and cussing them out demanding my money be put back into my account. If they don't i am pursuing further legal action. This is the most ilegal law firm i have ever encountered.

I agree. This guy is not nice at all.  MAKE SURE TO CALL HIM BACK AND GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT. HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER.

This piece of human feces, H. Kent Hollins lives in my town, Topeka, Kansas.  He is a sumbag attorney.  He loves to garnish accounts and loves to get bench warrants issued against people for not showing up to his court circuses he has every month.  That way, people get nailed with having to pay $100 to bail out, and that money of course gets turned over to him.  Best course of action is to pay any bills you owe this A**hole.  I truly hate his guts and am going to find me a real witch doctor to make me a doll of his sorry body so I can stick pins in it all day long.

You must work for these people then if you think they are a professional agency

im so sick of kent hollins! even after you set up a payment plans he still continues to call in call in call. what i will do is just file bankrupsy in he will have one less person to haress .what makes me so mad is if you even tell him you only work pt in go to school ft he still wants a huge payments he dont care about anyone but himself which is the said part. but i will show him

Well if you paid your bills on time you probably would not have to worry about this whole problem in the first place.  If you did have a whole bunch of bills due to a medical circumstance which can happen any collection business will usually work with the person whom is paying.  Quit complaining on here and wasting time or looking for spending time to find some voodoo doll and do something productive!  I will say that with this collection firm it appears as though they continue to at least call and remind about payments which takes man hours and is nice whereas others will just wait for people to fail then go after the throat.  At the end of the day this all comes back to a little thing that is called RESPONSIBILITY and once a individual is over 18 years of age in our country, unless they are deemed mentally handicapped, they are responsible for their own actions.

I have dealt with them. First I had to go to court and agreed to pay $10 a month but I missed a couple of payments. just found out they garnished $469 out of our savings account. This was over a $35 check. no making deals with them. The only good thing about this is I will not have to deal with them anymore. They are [***] to say the least.
