Received call stating I would be arrested tomorrow for an unpaid payday loan.  Would not give me any information as to where or when this loan was taken out or with what company.  The man stated he was Rockwell law firm.  Gave me address that for Lawrence, KS.  When I googled this law firm none of the info given matched.    This has to be a scam

Yes I got almost same line. The things people do to try to cheat you out of money!!

They just scam me out of $2,000

"Joh Davis" left  a message for me at my work as I was off Friday & said I should call ASAP Emergency. He didn't tell my employee what it was about. I'm going to instruct my employees to tell anyone like this who calls that it's a scam and tell them we do not accept personal calls in the office for anyone.

I've gotten a couple of calls from 785-727-2368 stating that I needed to contact them immediately or they will take legal action.  I called back twice and they would not tell me who they were supposed collecting for, what they were calling me for. When I questioned them further they hung up on me.

Not sure what it was regarding as someone took the message for me. I called back and it was about some legal action against  my name.   I beleive its a scam as I have had these calls before.

Rockwell handles mostly injury claims and they don't even have a collection department. The people I talked to claim to be filing charges against me for unpaid payday loan (I don't have any unpaid loans). They claim to be from Kansas and couldn't give me an address, aside from the fact that I live in Nebraska (this doesn't make sense). They say they will be filing to have my arrested at my place of work, etc if I didn't pay but they couldn't tell me who the loan was through, and they couldn't offer me documentation (collections agencies are legally obligated to do this within seven days of the first contact. Then you have the opportunity to dispute the claim within 30 days). Not only is this illegal, it's a lie. They just want money. If you think it might be real, I found the link below after I talked to them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. YOU HAVE RIGHTS and this is a scam!

Who do these people think they are??? I would like to find them and show them how things are done to those who scam people......

I call this clown back and tell him just how I feel hope he can handle it

They left a message on my wife's cell phone saying they where hired to collect a old dept.  They needed me to call them back so they could go ever a asset list of my property.  I tried to call them back and got no answer.
