Called, left no message.  From Miami, FL

This is probably a robo-dialer or scam caller. I have been receiving an overwhelming amount of these calls over the past couple of months and don't know or understand how started. Possibly because I answered a call from a number I did not recognize because I was expecting a call from a company... and that call was a hang up so I most likely "confirmed" that my number was legitimate and now they're calling like crazy.
I keep blocking the numbers but they just call from new ones. Maybe they will eventually give up or run out of numbers.
I do not understand the point of these calls.

P.S. Most of the other numbers I get calls from are for business loans. That is what others have reported. I never answer them and they never leave voicemails. I don't own a business so these calls make zero sense.

They use different numbers! I also received a call yesterday 510-906-2266! I'm am registered on the no call list! These people need to be sued for harassing people on the no call list! I wish they would get real jobs! I don't need a loan I have a real job!

just got a call from this number...no message so I blocked it.......I"m on a Do Not Call Registry and it's completely worthless.  I get calls at least 2x a day from spammers who don't leave messages.

At 10:04 I got a call from 916-758-8621 and I didn't answer. I don't answer unknown number because if it's important, whoever it is will leave a message.  Then got a call from this number (786-209-0861) at 10:12. Didn't answer that one either. No message left for either call. Both numbers blocked.
