Called me at 10am AST from Coral Gables FL, 33134. Didn't answer. Message left was just office background noise and they hung up. Google "Omnipoint Miami E License" for multiple complaints from people regarding harrassment and con artistry from this company over the years. According to the Florida Dept of State, this company started in 1998 and is no longer active. However, it was registered as a foreign entity and has apparently become active again. They have represented various other companies such as T-Mobile, PowerTel, and numerous VOIP services. Their Florida State ID is M98000000395. Company managers were Alan R. Bender, Donald Guthrie, and Cregg B.Baumbaugh (all 3 from Washington, USA).

SCAM. DO NOT ANSWER. BLOCK IF POSSIBLE.

Just called me to say that as I have always paid my Visa/Master card on time and more than the minimum payment I was qualified for a reduced interest rate.  When I asked to speak to someone from Canada he pretended to not understand.  He had an East Indian accent.  I asked again and he would not answer when I asked where he was calling from.   I hung up.  They called back and I did not answer

Had an extended exchange. The caller had too much information about our account but not enough to prove he was genuine. Offered a lifetime interest of 5% then 4.5%. Very disturbing to hear how much personal information he had.
We called the bank and confirmed it was fraud. They said no credit card would offer such a low rate. We cancelled the cards and new ones will be issued.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Called on aug 20th2015 in Granby, Quebec, Canada.  I was suspicious and he said he was calling from Visa and Mastercard ( probably hedid not know which one I had ).  He had a bad accent and offer me reduced interest rate.  I hang up knowing it was fraud.

I just received a call from 1-786-247-3444 and they knew my name and wanted to thank me for being a loyal VISA customer and for always paying my bills on time. I asked him which bank and he said all banks. I said I find this call strange because none of the cards are in my name and he hung up and ended the call very abruptly.

I just received a call from 1-786-247-3444 and they knew my name and wanted to thank me for being a loyal VIVA customer and for always paying my bills on time. I asked him which bank and he said all banks. I said I find this call funny because none of the cards are in my name and he hung up and ended the call very abruptly.

Yesterday, my elderly mother received a call from Scammers calling from 562-999-7024 in Long Beach, CA. They asked her for credit card numbers and social security number under the promise of "lowering her interest rate" on her credit cards. I came home just about that time and made her hang up the call ...they were just about to "transfer her to another department to complete the information." They told her they would call her back later when she returned home. Later that day, the caller ID picked up three calls from 786-247-3444 ... no messages were left.  Today, the caller ID recorded 10 calls from the same phone number. Again, no messages were left, but we can only assume they were the "other department" calling to complete the information!  The name associated with that phone number on the caller ID is Yanez Maikel.  Don't know who this is, but I strongly advise AGAINST answering calls from this number (AND the Long Beach number, as well)!!
