786-284-1780

I just got a text from 786-284-1780 that said the following:
This is to inform you, that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days. your SSN is put on hold by the US Federal Government, call me on 813-398-9798 ask for Nany Smith.

This follows a suspicious phone call from a spoofed number this morning stating that I was going to be arrested in a couple of days.

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."

"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court."

I recieved the following text message from Nancy Smith, "This is to inform you, that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days. Your SSN is put on hold by the US Federal and to return the call at 909-666-5785.

I got the exact same text. I replied no but i will be suing you. Lol

I received a text from  1-786-284-1780 saying that I will be prosecuted

I just got the exact message but saying I need to call Ted Miller.... I did nothing wrong so they can try and prosecute all they want

Forward the text to 7726 (short code for SPAM). It will be investigated and blocked by your cell provider.

I got it too.  I did forward it to the 7726.  The thing that I find most humorous is that they really think someone would fall for that.  That is absolutely ridiculous. I sent them a text back letting them know that I have forwarded their information to the appropriate authorities and that they will be prosecuted.

I got the same messages the other people got but they called my job and harassed me there. I don't owe them money .

Tell them the next time they call they are calling on a recorded line and you and your employer intend to have them prosecuted for attempted extortion and wire fraud. It works BOTH ways.

I just got the same exact message that everyone else gotten. And the wanted me to call them back at 813-398-9798 and ask for Ted Miller

I got the same message but no phone number or person to call. I simply replied to them okay. What they dont know is,  I just applied for a federal job so im sure if they want me they can come get me.

Another reason I don't like [***]! Always trying to scam people! I told them to [***] Off and good luck with your operation.

Getting the same call.What else did they say. What did they do

Just received same text ....same number ..I replied,  I've been waiting on disability claim . I will let Social Security case worker know.       Maybe that'll get them
