Called just now and didn't leave a message. Don't know who it is. Just says Miami FL.

Whoops, correction. They DID leave a message. It was someone with an Indian accent and a lot of background noise. I couldn't understand most of what he said, but he had my name, and said something about a lawsuit. Blocked!!!!

This just happened to me, did anything ever come from it?

It's a scam I am pretty sure.  I got the call a couple hours ago, same sounding message only my message said he was with the legal department with U.S treasury. I googled it and pretty much everything said it was a scam and they say different things

Received Message saying I had 3 warrants for my arrest and I needed to pay money.

Just received call from this number. Like the rest, heavy accent, lots of background noise and said she was calling from Dept of Human Affairs. Would love it if they could catch these clowns before the take advantage of some sap that doesn't know any better

Have issued warrents for my arrest. Wants money now

They left a voicemail.There was a lot of noise in the background, a Indian by the name of Lisa/Lesa Davis said she's with the Dept of Legal Affairs and something about a law enforcement action against my name.

Common IRS/Treasury scam.  Block and ignore.   Government agencies initiate contact by letter.  Almost never by phone.  IRS NEVER initiates contact by phone. US mail only.

Total scam.  IRS does not issue warrants.  Only judges issue warrants.  Ignore and block the calls.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Received a call from the US treasury department they claim they were with the US treasury department then they threatened to say that I would be arrested if I did not comply with their demands once I hung up the phone A lady called me from a 911 number and claim to be a deputy and said that if I did not contact the number back they were going to have dispatch officers to my home to arrest me.  The gentleman had an Indian strong accent and I couldn't understand them. I contacted 911 and made a complaint against this number and found out that this was a text US treasury scam if anyone gets a call from this number do not answer it do not follow through Please be aware they are a scam

Just called me said there was a lawsuit against me for not filing my taxes which i did lol saying he needed my soc number and annual gross income probably trying to steal my taxes or some [***] saying i had a warrant for my arreset.

They called and said they were from the government ,wanted to talk about taxws. I got there number then hung up.

Received message from someone with a heavy accent saying there was warrant for arrest and I needed to pay.

I received this call earlier today and it was a male with a heavy accent demanding I call him immediately concerning legal action that has been taken against me. Every few seconds, it would sound as if he put me on hold, then click before he started speaking again.

I got the same called and when I called back they're like your not Jesse and I said yes I am I hung up called back and asked if they had an address for me they said f u   and they hung up

Just received call, left message.  Said they were with the legal department and had a very important matter to discuss.

They called this morning foreign accent a little hard to understand.  Stated they were getting ready to file lawsuit for federal taxes that I owed.   Asked who they were no response but stated I could call back an talk to a James Harris at this same number.  Of course I didn't call back.  I don't owe the Federal  and besides I think they would notify me by mail first.  Preying on people to get info and money.  Scammers!  Please tell everyone.  Don't give any info over phone.   You can always check out these numbers!

I just received a voicemail from the same number. It was a man who said his name is John Andrews with the Dept. of Legal Affairs. He said I need to return his call because enforcement actions have been started against me. He had my name and home phone number. He said either I or my attorney needs to contact him right away before it turns into a real mess. He also advised that I take this very seriously.
