I WOULD LIKE THIS PERSON TO STOP CALLING ME AND HARRASSING ME AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL CONTACT THE SHERRIFS DEPARTMENT AND HAVE SOME ONE COME TO MY FRONT DOOR AND ALSO THEY SAID MY SOCIAL  SECURITY  WILL BE TERMINATED. YOU FIND THIS VERY UNLAWFUL  AND  I  WANT IT TO STOP.

This number starts calling me today- and I'm on the phone with my doctors office. They call 7 times in a matter of 10 minutes I'm on my phone. I keep having to tell my doctors office "I'm sorry hold on," so I can hit ignore on the dam* phone to even hear what is being said. Finally I hang up and they call back so I give them a piece of my mind. I say "I'm on the PHONE with my doctors office, why call over and over?!" and the guy on the other end of the line says "what are you talking to him about?" I was like, WHAT!? DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN!
Not 2 minutes later he calls back. I answer and demand he not call again, hang up- he calls again. I just turned my cell phone off.
Immediately hopped on google to see what I could find about this number. What an [***]!

DUDE KEEPS CALLING ME... HE HAS A FUNNY ACCENT & HE KNEW MY FIRST NAME & MISPRONOUNCED MY LAST NAME..VERY STRANGE CONSIDERING MY CELL PHONE IS NOT REGISTERED IN MY NAME...

I have started receiving phone calls from a 'Richard Johnson' at this number. He does have an accent. He told me I am being sued for fraud on a $300 loan I received. He demanded $735 to 'take care of it'. I spoke with the company that is 'suing' me and they are in fact not suing me. This man said the police will come to my door and arrest me and I will lose my job. This harassment is disturbing and illegal

yea i started getting this phone call also from this same dude.he told me the same crap,im like what i aint did nothing so how am i getting sued.he calls back to back from differnt numbers anderson law firm.kinda worried me but i knew it had to be some bs.so i did what he did to me.i called him back over and over saying hello and crap that would irratate him.screw that guy

This number is calling for my husband saying his name is Steve Johndon from anderson lawfirm and that hi social secerty is being investiged and the local police department will come and arrest him...how do we stop these calls???????

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters have instructed victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain amount, on a specific date, via a pre-paid Visa card. The statement further declares the victim will never dispute the debt.

If you receive these calls, do not follow the caller’s instructions. Rather, you should:

Notify your banking institutions.
Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file.
Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger.
File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.
Tips to avoid becoming a victim of this scam:

Never give your Social Security number—or personal information of any kind—over the telephone or online unless you initiate the contact.
Be suspicious of any e-mail with urgent requests for personal financial information. The e-mail may include upsetting or exciting but false statements to get you to react immediately.
Avoid filling out forms in e-mail messages that request personal information.
Ensure that your browser is up-to-date and security patches have been applied.
Check your bank, credit, and debit card statements regularly to make sure that there are no unauthorized transactions. If anything looks suspicious, contact your bank and all card issuers.
When you contact companies, use numbers provided on the back of cards or statements

i received the same call..I told them that i am looking online and I see this is a scam and to stop calling me and they said ok and I hung up on them

I received a call from 786-322-8815 starting to day at my home and then at work. I answered when they called again later in the day asking for me. It was a man that said he was calling from the anderson law firm with a heavy indian accent. I told him I was going to call the police and not to call me again and hung up. 1 minute later he called back and I told him 'LISTEN I AM ASKING YOU NICELY DON'T EVER CALL ME AGAIN OR I AM GOING TO CALL THE POLICE AND REPORT YOU FOR SCAMMING,he said okay and hung up.

I have received about 6 or 8 of these phone calls.  They informed me that I borrowed money and didn't give it back and that they are going to take me to court.   He is foriegn ( Eastern Indian) Claimes his name is Eugene Baker ( Right) -- said he is an investagator for CASH ADVANCEAMERICA.COM and his badge number is either DV or EV 95326

Twice again this morning this Eastern Indian called.   Said he's taking me to court for 7,000.00 for an unpaid loan I took out and asked me why I defrauded his company.   SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET THIS GUY AND HIS THUGS AND CUT THEM OFF...

This guy named Mathew Jones said I have a legal case against my ss #. He said I better call him back at this number. I don't have any legal issues anywhere. The next time he calls which he calls all the time I'm going to file a complaint with the above website.

Tell that that guy with an accent that you have filed acomplaint with the above site. He should leave you alone. Today he called my work and left a voice mail that stated something to do with a legal case against my ss #. He also, said that I better call him back this is his second phone call and good luck to me. If he calls me back I am tell him to stick it and that i have file a complaint with the FBI & internet safety security. Good Luck! Tell your work that it is a scammer should them this website for proof!

This number keeps calling my cell and work and saying they are going to have me arrested but if i pay them 700 by then end of the day they will drop the charges. I and several others have told them not to call at work or my cell but they keep calling. I know i do not owe them how do i get tehm to stop?

I got a call again from the guy with an indian accent. He siad he was from anderson legal and something about my ss#. At my lunch break I'm going to call him back and tell him i have filed a complaint against him. This is a scam

If you have call forwarding features (like on Verizon Digital Voice), than forward this jerk to 717-338-2533.  That's the FCC Director's office phone.  Maybe the FCC will finally do their job when they start getting the annoying calls.

This is a scam for sure. He called me at work.....a police station. The dispatcher told him it was an emergency 911 line and he kept on talking. Everything is recorded here,therefore he was recorded stating the police would come and arrest me. What a joke.
