Just received a call from this number to my cell at 3:30pm.  I did not answer.

Just received a call as well. Heard silence. Then in 5 seconds there was a tone like when answering machines start recording. I hang up

Same...didn't answer.  Who is it?

My membership with them ended this month.  A woman called and said she was from Allstate Motor Club.  She started out by saying, "This call may be monitored or recorded...."  Then she asked me, "Have you received a new debit or credit card, because your payment did not go through."  I said, "Maybe, that is because I didn't authorize a payment, because I don't want to renew my membership.  I have full coverage now through another company."  She said, "Do they have the same benefits as we do?"  I said, "I'm quite sure they do."  Then she said, "Well, if you have anymore questions about our benefits, please call 1-800-....."  I said, "Okay, bye!"

Just don't say your credit/debit card number or you'll probably have some money taken out of your account.  If you don't answer, they'll call several times a day.

I got call from this number on Dec 28th 2010 i did not answer

Got a call from this number around 6PM this evening.  Did not answer and they left no messege.

Got a call around 9 a.m. central time from them, and then again a few minutes ago. Didn't answer either.

very helpful information. thank yall. i am pretty sure I know how they got my number. Some free advice for you all. never sign up to win a new car they sale your information to companies.

If you receive this number it is actually from the number 877-451-2602. They called many time every 10 mins thoughout the day. They are collection agent.

It still exists.
The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers, scammers, political callers, survey organizations, places with which you have a business relationship, or charities.  It is not meant to block calls from those parties.  Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and does a pretty good job at that.
