Unknown caller. I don't live anywhere near Florida.

They are claiming that I have a debt from 1981 that was never paid.

Well, you can tell them to take a hike since the statute of limitations on that debt, if true, has run out about 13 years ago.  And then tell them to prove it in writing!!

It's a company called RPM; it's a collection agency.  Rudest mother f**kers.  Tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

I have received hang up calls and messages with just laughing from the number reported.  I have a restraining order against Barry D. Lyons. has far as I know he is California or Oregon.  It sounded a lot like his laugh on the phone.  When I looked up the number it said it was from  Gmail ?  He has hacked my Gmail and has had controll of it since at least June 2010. I am waiting for law-enforcement to investigate this.

This company lies when they call and use aggressive tactics that is against the law. Yesterday I received a call from a guy that sounded like a gangster. I told him to F**K OFF!! after he refused to identify himself and proceed to tell me he was from Washington when the caller ID displayed Florida. I have no outstanding debt and therefore he was calling the wrong person.  I have reported the number to the Federal Trade Commission for review. Soon this collection company will be on World News Tonight for using threatening tactics.

We have been getting a call from this number and is it a recording. If it is a bill collector we do not owe anyone and are debt free. How do we turn them in?

I got a call from that number too. Rude people too. Based on internet search, it seems they are from a company called RPM. It is some sort of debt collection company. Just hang up on those bozos and call the FTC. I also mention to the FTC that they might have possible links with Al-Qaeda given that it seems caller have middle east accent and they have made threats. That should get the invistagation going fast.

My number is on the do not call list and yet keep receiving calls from this number.

The do not call list is for telemarketing. It does not  apply to debt collectors. If they call you again, have them give you a mailing address and write them a letter stating to seize any communication to  you. If they continue, you can report them because they will be in violation of the FDCPA laws.

I work doing collections on the credit card dept for a federal bank and this will be definetely a harrassment case.

For each violation in a phone call, they can get fine for 1000 per violation. So if they are rude, they can fine, if they don't give you a mini miranda in the first 60 seconds, that's another 1000. The fine goes to the company and the individual.
