I got a call from a heavy accent foreigner with an American name saying he is calling from Wells Fargo Bank, and a loan in the amount of $15,000 has been approved.  I did not apply for a loan, especially from WF.  They want to lead you to the idea you have a loan only to get your personal and financial information in order to steal from your accounts.  Besides, banks do not call you to inform you regarding a loan; if so, banks use 800 or 866 area codes.  Do not answer the call.  I did not return the phone message.

I got a call from a guy with a heavy accent saying his name was Kevin Smith, not likely!!

He said I ha defaulted on a payday loan, which I have never done, an he wanted me to pay $500 over the phone or I would get arrested and prosecuted!! He had a really old address for me and a junk mail email I haven't used in 6 years! To make a long story short, because I kept him on the phone for a while lol, he had all kinds of mixed info about me and it was a scam!!

My guy said he was from the IRS and I told him my parents did not raise any fools:)

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I got a call from this number said they were from advance america. 7865484087 and I was approved for a 5000 dollar loan. They wanted my bank info. Advance america doesn't give 5000 dollar loans
