This # is from American Law Div. The person said that he was John Nellson and this was an attempt to collect a debt from a payday loan that we never did. this is a scam

Yes this is a scam.  They tried to tell me that "Cash Advance America" deposited $200 into my bank account and never paid them, and that now I owed over $400.  LMAO I didn't have a bank account with the bank he mentioned at the time they said the deposit was made so I knew he didnt have a pot to piss in... I contacted my attorney and they told me to do the following:
1) Tell them "DO NOT SHARE MY INFORMATION WITH ANYONE ELSE OR SELL IT TO A THRID PARTY"
2) Tell them to REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER FROM THEIR SYSTEM
3) If they have any documentation to send me then mail it and do not contact me again!!!

When I did this the man on the phone said "OH so sorry we will do that thank you and hung up on me"...

The same thing just happened to me, from the same place for a payday loan I didn't get.  I called my bank and they confirmed I never received any money from Cash Advance America and this is a scam.  I'm getting an attorney and going to the Police to report this matter.

This number said he is a fraud investagator. Is calling my job and I have commited no fraud and I want this stopped ASAP !

I have been harassed by these folks for about six months.  Their telephone number always changes and from different parts of the country, and even from Taiwan.  Two other numbers they have used are: 661.380.
3000 and 415.880.5599, both out of California.  Interestingly enough, this person always sounds the same, of Indian (Asian) derivation with American names, Joseph White, for example.  Same story, pay loan deposit into a checking account that never existed for two hundred dollars and the demand for $700.00 plus in immediate payment before the end of day.  Sometimes he uses American Law Division and other times, Internet Fraud Investigation.  Ask for his federal I.D. number, his location (office address) his immediate supervisor's name, and per consumer protection laws have him send to your home address the paperwork proving what he is scamming about.  Do not give your address; the clown supposedly should have it as he intimidates you with all the 'facts' he has about you.  Chances are each one of us has probably gone the unfortunate root of trying to get a pay day loan (an obscene form of theft, in itself with their outrageous interest payment) where he has found a way to glean personal information, either through hacking software, or insider knowledge.

WOW, this just happen to me today! I sleep durnig the day, and when i woke up and checked my missed calls and voice mail, I was being told that I had to contact "MIKE JOHNSON" right away, becasue a warrent was being issued for me! Also stating the same thing, that I had taken a loan out on line and that I never paid them back!  This is crazy! They also had my work number and left a message at my job.....for me to call them back...so not cool!

Same thing has happened to me.  They claim they are with some FBI and a suit was filed against my ssn number due to an unpaid pay day loan.  They have an accent as if they are from the islands.  Not sure but it is very hard understand what they are saying.

I am getting the same calls not sure how to stop it.

if u ever receive call from them please call me on this... number 1-800-916-6519 .... we have tapped them... and we have recorded a call from one of their fake restitution officer whose name is luis parker...... and one is stupid keith willie ,and don douglas,, who does'nt knew how to speak american english

Someone named "Ron Black" / "Ryan Black" keeps calling my phone saying that there is a legal action being taken against me.  He says the local officers will be coming to my home and that I need to locate an attorney or call this number.  Is this real?

if you wrote a bad check for good or services then it is possible because that falls under bad check laws. If you just failed to pay the debt then that is not going to happen. Usually you will get notice before legal action is taken against you. Get a letter and pay it if possible.

Got a phone call from this number & message from someone named michael,couldn't make out his last name,saying my brother has an issue with legal contract papers. Very poor broken english, I did save the message & number. I also contacted my cell phone provider and local police.

I have said screw it and just keep calling them back now. I started to interrogate them as they did my fiance and now myself. I told them I believed they were supporting Al-Queada, and I truly am a former United States Marine. ( I really am.)
Now they are asking me to stop calling lol! When ever I am bored I am going to call them and mess with them like they do us! I believe they are phone terrorists because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to do it otherwise.

Oh yeah I got them mad now. I got dirty, just like an old Marine! Just give it back to them.

I recieved this call from a guy name Johnny Parker and he told me tha I took out a loan from Cash Advance America in Sept. 2009 and I can settle out of court with a fee of 451.69. I do not know what he is talking about and told me that I will have a warrant against my name and will go to jail. Do not know what to do please help!!

They are scammers from India they have been calling me too I just ignore them!
