Return call most likely results in your phone number being verified as "live" and possibly susceptible to scams. The point of the one-ring/no message call is so that the scammer doesn't pay for a call, but hopes that a sucker will call back, paying for the call for them, and verifying that there is a live person at this number.

Never call back an unknown number. It could also result in an exorbitant phone charge.

It is a call in spanish asking if you have had an accident.  I have pressed #2, asking to be taken off the call list to no avail.  They have been calling for 4 straight days at all hours.  I pressed #1 and told them to stop calling but no luck!

I received the same call but they called twice and I tried calling back and it's busy all the time!!!

Don't ever call the number back.  It's a scam.   Just block the number and move on
