I got a phone call twice that the IRS is suing me. Such a scam.

Got a call that the IRS is suing me. That is a big scam and if the IRS was suing you, you would receive a certified letter, etc.

Yes, they are a scam, they threatened to bring me before a magistrate, we are in the USA, we do not have magistrates.  They are violating the law and misrepresenting themselves, including impersonating officials.  Report them to the IRS, there is a form online and what they are doing is illegal.

An IRS scam from Florida.  Said I had a case file and to call immediately.

Received a call from that number claiming to be IRS.  I hung up.   When I tried to call the number back a little
later, a voice recording said:  "you have called an unused number at the Hines VAS, Washington, DC."

That also is bogus because the area code for 786 is in Florida.
