Got a threatening message from this phone number telling me that if I did not contact them that all they could do was "wish me luck as the events unfolded" When I called the number they said that they represented a law firm. When I tried to ask them questions they put me on hold and never came back on the line.

They told me that they were a law remediation thing. Said they would be taking action if I did not come to them. I called and they put me on hold.

Have received several calls From This Number. If I knew who to report them to I would. Just says they are a mediation firm.  Really getting put out with scammers.

A lady named Jazmine Martin said there was litigation against me about I loan.  When I asked her what my information was, she didn't have it.  I asked What State and she said "Your State".  She said she was from Reed, Archer & Associates.  She said she would transfer me to the mediator, then hung up.

scammers! don't fall for it

Got several calls from them...this only started to happen after I posted an ad on Craigslist. Never again. I keep blocking the number on my iPhone, but they end up calling with another number. Keep saying legal action is being taken against me and there is a case with my name and SS number attached.

Private investigator Stacy Barns have a legal matter against my name and SS#  in my county and to contact immediately. Does anybody have any idea of who this is or what to do in this instance.

Phone calls, faxes, emails & texts are NOT recognized as "official" notification.   IF they call again, demand WRITTEN prof of the charge MAILED to you.  That is the only official way to notify you other then having a summons delivered (and you are not warned about that).

Since everyone received the same message, SCAM!!!   IGNORE!!  If in doubt, contact  to your local court house - civil division.  There is NO jail or arrest (and you may also receive other threats - also illegal).

It is also illegal to claim to be an attorney(or law enforcement officer) if you are not. None of these posters even mentioned the name of a company - doesn't that seem a bit odd if the call was real??

I got a message saying that my name and ssn were attached to a case to contact them back.... I did not because I don't live in FL and further more they don't know my name.... I take law so ...good luck to them.

For the love of God DO NOT talk to these dirt bag scammers please!!!!

Her name is Brittany Brown she told me that if I did not pay I would go to jail for check fraud and wished me luck if I could not pay anything

Even IF you did owe, jail/arrest is NOT going to happen.  This would be a civil case.  The caller is a LIAR (and making threats is illegal too!).
