Man calls and asks for my 13 y/o son by name.  This really creeped me out!  Caller ID says Sunland Properties.  Get the same "this number has been disconnected" voice mail message.  Called directory assistance for 786 area code and asked for Sunland Porperties - no such business in the Miami area - but one is listed in Davie - Palm Beach area - of course it was also "disconnected" via voice mail - not telephone company message.  Do Not Call list both for the State of Florida and the National lists.  Caller no longer asks for my son, just hangs up when I answer.

Got a call on my cell phone. Caller hung up.

Got a call yesterday, no message left. Bothered me after I did a reverse lookup and number came up as land line in N Miami FL.  I am in FL and my boss is from that area and she has been out of the office due to family emergency. I am on DNC.  Caller ID said was Sunland Properties. Have not called it back.

I get calls from this number all the time, and when I answer they hang up. I am on the Do Not Call list so I reported them and got a letter back from the FCC saying they are investigating it.
Every time they call I make a note of the date and time they call, I keep the list in Wordpad so I can add to it as they call. When I reported them to the FCC I got a case number and a fax number so I am faxing the list over to the FCC at the end of this month.(I also have the saved Caller ID's)

I receive calls from this number every day at all times of the day. Same as previous posts, however, I am a truck driver and can not turn off my phone. There are times that I am trying to get some sleep!!! The caller never speaks and as already noted when you call the number the recording claims the number is disconnected!!!

Did not answer, waited,did not leave amessage. 1-(786)923-0962 I dont have time for this they need to stop calling.

I just got one too at my work number... They left a 48 second voicemail on my phone with just a room that sounded like it was in a crowded call room  or a sports bar or something but they never talked...

Weird to see I'm not alone here. I always look up numbers on google and it led me here...

A call from this number woke me up early this morning and I work nights.  Unfortunately, once I'm awake I can't go back to sleep.  I, too, am on the Do Not Call List.  So, how do these companies get past the restriction?  I called the number back and got hung up on.

Has anyone thought of calling the police because it is about 11:50am and I just got a call this is the 3 time. Just googled it, I too have 2 boys 13 and 15 and a while ago some freak was calling asking for him and would hang up. Didn't think much of it because one of my boys had filled out alot of online videos game aplications and stuff. The the older one was trying to get into military academies so I knew they wouldn't hang up on me. I also googled but nothing came up. Now for it saying it is disconected it the person just has his vm set up to say that. Cookie-lady I know u have a case number with the fcc but this sounds like something serious something the fcc needs to treat more ergency cause I just got a call. If someone is trying to get a hold of our kids and luckly we are getting the calls 1st can you imagine the amound of kids out their that are getting these calls directly. Good luck to you all, but I'm calling the police and letting them handle this. They can get in touch with the FBI or the FCC.

I was called this morning (7/17/2007) by a lady from this number saying she was calling about Tiki Village.  I told her that I had asked her company twice not to call anymore and told her I am also on the no call list.  I then hung up.  The same lady called within 30 seconds from an anonymous voice saying, "Mrs. Fr...e you are a rude [***]!.

I am reporting this company to the FCC.

Just received 2 calls from this number this morning.
Nobody was on the line when I picked up, and received the same "number disconnected" garbage when I tried to call it back.
I am on the DNC and have reported these calls to them, the FCC, and my phone carrier.

Maybe i'll file with the Attorney General's office here in FL as well, since they seem to targeting us Floridians.

I'm also on the DNC list but keep getting these calls. You would think with caller ID available that businesses would "get it" that they need to say who they are and why they all calling and be honest about it. My phone is for my convenience, not theirs.

My phone number is contained within this number.  I have gotten several irate calls from people that have been called by 786 923-0962.  They called back from caller ID, or did *69 or whatever, and reached me instead.  If you do this, please dial carefully, and be sure to dial the "1" first to indicate long distance!  One lady yelled at me repeatedly, even though I told her she had not reached the person she was angry with.  I totally sympathize with people getting harassing calls, but if I tell you that you didn't reach the right number, it is the truth.  You need to be sure the 1 is dialed when you do a callback, otherwise the network reads the first 7 digits as a local number.

I got a voice-mail message from 786-923-0962.  No voices, just 77 seconds of music.  Sounded a little Irish.

The phone number is not disconnected. It is there voice mail saying this number is disconnected so you won't keep calling them.

Just got a call from (786) 923-0962 to my work number. This has happened A LOT!! I called it back and the recording said that the number is disconnecred. I am wondering if this has anything to do with Game Stop or HabboHotel or anything like that. I too have two sons around 12 that go on the internet and have Game Stop memberships, HabboHotel membership, etc. Anyone else have this correlation?

I keep getting calls from 1-786-923-0962, which shows up on my caller ID as SUNLAND PROPERTIES.  When I "googled" SUNLAND PROPERTIES I see lots of companies, including ones in Thailand and the UK.   I don't understand how they are able to actually make phone calls when *69 says that 1-786-923-0962 is a disconnected number... THIEVES KNOW ALL THE TRICKS, DON'T THEY?  BE CAREFUL!!! DO NOT SPEAK WITH ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU FROM THIS NUMBER..
