This number called me saying they had my father hostage and wanted my money so they can release him.

This guy called my two kids saying that a family member had been injured and was in a hospital.  He said he was in Miami when he actually was in Puerto Rico.   Would like to get the police after him.

A spanish speaking guy called my mom on her cell phone saying that a family member had been injured and he was at a gas station. She immediately cut him off and he kept begging her not to. I tried calling back but no answer.  Tell your family members and friends to beware.

Spanish speaking son of B..tch! Said one of my family members got in a car accident and that he has my family member in his house. he told me to get 2k or he will kill my loved one. Please be aware!

Just called me saying he was at a gas station with my brother involved in an accident. Said they had beat him up and were going to kill him. Never demanded money because I never gave him the chance. I had my brother on the other line. What a scam!

This guy called me 15 minutes ago saying that a beloved one was injured in a gas station and he got him on his apartment. I asked him where did this occured but he avoided answer me. The idiot identified himself as LUIS.

This number called my Daughter and asked her if she had a Brother.She told him yes and the Man said that my Son had wrecked into his motorcycle and they beat him up and was holding him somewhere in an apartment.My Daughter was frantic thinking someone had hurt her Brother.They said if she gave them 900 dollars they would take him to the emergency room.She tried to ask more questions and they hung up on her.My Son is fine and I hope they catch the [***] who are doing this.

This guy just call me , telling me that my brother or son was injured from a car accident, but when I start asking about the color of the car and model he got upset, because he was doing me  a favor, then he told me that he will let the other people kill him. What a M@%&^ Fu&*^&%.

i received a phone call from this number and a spanish gay asked me if i had a husband or any family because were someone injured at the gas station  (family of mine) and he ask the owner of the cell phone  to call me for help. the same story. please if that gay continue doing this would be to late for someone.

They person just called me telling me that i had a family member in an accident and then asked me if i had a brother or a husban. I said no and then he's like, well let him die then. Who in the world has a heart to even say things like this. Makes peope frighten and then not trust if a situation like this actually happens.

This guy threaten my 2 brothers. Saying to my mother they are going to hurt them if my mom doesnt pay him money. His name is Luis saying he is on vacation from Puerto Rico. Please ignore this person he is a complete scammer. COMPLETE [***]

They called from this number and an additional number 305-965-0485. They called my mother in law and said that her son had been in a car accident and if she did not send them $1200 to Puerto Rico they would kill him they were telling her that they were supposedly beating him up until they got the money. We figured out the scam and myhusband called the number back and they told him that if he didn't send the money immediately via western union that they would kill him his wife and his sister.

this guy call me  and told me that my parents were involved in a car crash and ask my for money and  i had my parents in front of my this guy is a crook DO NOT TRUST HIM.

I just got a call from 787-624-3376, similar story. Family member was in a car accident, that they just hit his brother's car.  Asked if I have a mother or father.(strange way to tell someone such a thing), So, I asked him rhetorically, "So, you're telling me one of my family members, hit your brother's car?"  He said "Yeah, I'm just trying to help you out, sir."
The whole time, no names were mentioned. I asked for him to describe "my family member", and then he immediately hung up.  Sad to think that there are people who are gullible enough and easily frightened by someone telling vague lies, to give in and hand over money...

I see all of these posts are from 2012...FYI, the calls have started again/still ongoing. I received a call this morning from a private number and a guy with an Hispanic accent asked who is on the phone, and when I asked him who he is trying to reach, he said that a man was in a car accident and was really badly injured, and asked him to call me. He then proceeded to ask me if I had a husband or a brother that drives and when I said I had both he asked me what my husbands name is. I said my husbands first name, but not the last. The guy on the phone yelled to someone to ask "the injured" man if his name is what I said, and then can back on the phone with me and confirmed that it is my husband's name. He told me to stay calm and that my husband hit his car, all the while I kept asking him to tell me what car the man is in. He kept avoiding the question and also asked me how come I don't know the car my husband is driving. I lied and said that i am in school and we have two cars and that I didn't know what car he took. I also got frustrated and told him that if this was a prank call that I would trace the call and make him pay for it. The guy got upset on the phone and said that he was trying to help this "injured" man and said FU B....! He proceeded to say something else, but I was hanging up my cell phone. Called my husband at work righty away and he was safe and sound. Who can we contact to report this? Anyone knows? These "comedians" need to pay for this.

They just called my friend asking him for an amount of money sound similair to the stories im reading.. i brung up that the cops are on the way and they proceeded to say that there going to kill him... i eventually hung up after getting intouch with my friends lil brother which who was supposedly being held hostage... so that means they are still doing this scam...
