I also got a call from this company and this is fraud. This company is based somewhere in India. They do not provide the services which telemarketer are commiting like flight and holiday etc. Please do not provide your bank details to them otherwise it may result loosing some handsome money for no reason. They are giving London address but they are not based over there. It is a scam

I've just got the same call and after hanging up just before they asked for my card details, they keep calling back!!  But won't leave a message!

The guy (obviously from India but says they're calling from London) was very pleasant saying things like 'oh, you don't sound 28, you sound very much younger' so I did feel really bad for hanging up, but i'm pleased I did judging on what i've just read. Guy also said it was his first day on the job (maybe pulling at heart strings?) but it was very tricky to understand him. He said only 20 people were chosen for this from my area. When I asked him how he got my name/number they said they did a survey on my area a few months ago. Well, I have only just moved into this house!

    KEEP AWAY!!

I live in Ireland and I had the same call yesterday. They offered four voucher for 125 euro. They took my credit card number and date of expired, but I intentionally gave them the wrong date. I was in my bank today and they told me that platinum-holidays.net tried to charge me for vouchers but unsuccessfully.

On 12th November I received a telephone call. The person at the other end of the line informed me that I had won a holiday voucher and that I could go anywhere in the world. The reason given for the win was because I was paying my ESB bill on time. After all they wannted my visa credit card nr!!!!
I was then asked to confirm my details and was told that all the details would be kept confidential.I was also asked if I had a credit card and was the credit card valid, to which I replied yes.I said that I was not happy with what was happening, after-which I was put on to the manager. The manager person said that the company was on the market for 15 years and that they adhere to Irish law and I had no reason to be afraid. The conversation ended there. I immediately called the bank because I suspected the company to be fraudulent. The card was cancelled at that time. When I called the bank €125 had been fraudulently taken from the account under the name “Platinum Holiday”.
They took from me 125 euro, don't give them any details, and the best way don't speak with them, they are making fraud. They have indian accent!and also very bad connection,In my opinion this is nr from internet, because it isn't possible call them back and this help them don't be fallow. So be careful!!!!!

I got a phone call from Platinum Holidays as well... 6 weeks... free accommodation ... holidays from my dreams...only 125 euro... THEY ALREADY HAD OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!! we were asked to confirm our details... all you need to use a card... we were sure that its a free vouchers from the company who issued that credit card to us... because "we are such a good customers and we always pay off our credit card on time"...I couldn't sleep all night... I cancelled my credit card next day...125 euro is gone...I rang that nr 00448000513723 (Platinum Holidays)... and I asked to cancel my transaction...I was told that somebody will give me a call back in 4-5 days...
When I rang to the bank to cancel my credit card, I asked is it possible to get them money back??? I got an advise to send a letter to Platinum Holidays and a copy of that to the bank and say that "I want to get a full refund of that transaction and that I dint want to have any more transactions with that company", 7 days, I m working on it...
Next time I m going to think twice before I believe that somebody is trying to make me happy for nothing... I m glad that they didn't clear my card "completely"
sorry for my English... I did my Best Katie

Got same call yesterday offering  vouchers for £99 they wanted me to only give the long number on the front of my credit card, as proof of my ID,They said they didnt require the 3 digit security code on back of my card, so no money could be taken for now, dont know weather that is correct, but I refused to give any numbers said I would need to check out company first. Did a check on there terms and conditions, under those I would not have been eligable so looks like I might have lost the money eiter way. The rep is due to ring me back today but have just rung them on there 0800 number and told them not to bother

Simiar caller rang my wife yesterday and offering her 2 vouchers with a booking fee of £20 pounds. she was told we have been preselected and among the few lucky ones. when asked for details , the guy mentioned that there is only a surcharge of £20 pound per voucher and thats all need to be paid .The vouchers be valid for 2 yrs. luckily my wife did'nt give any card details and told the guy that she will discuss first and if he can ring later. This definitely seems like fraud after reading all the comments above.

We've been receiving calls from 'Platinum Holidays' for several weeks now. Each time they ask for Mr/Mrs Bridge (which isn't our name) and then start to bang on about the usual we've been pre-selected for a holiday offer. We've told them several times to stop phoning but they carry on. We're registered with TPS and have witheld numbers blocked on our phone but they keep calling. Today I spoke to 'Amita' who got very aggressive after I tried to do a bit of detective work and find out where they were. At the end of the call he actually told me that he had been paid thousands to rip off people in the UK and to not let it ruin my Christmas but I was paying for the call!!!!! I've contacted my line provider, TPS and OFT but all have said there is nothing they can do to stop them as they're not based in the UK. The only option I've got is to change my number!
