Just like many other odd numbers...try calling around the dinner hours. Every day.

I received a call that I have been selected for a grant money that is in the amount of 7800.
I needed to confirm and share this as it's just a scam. the number is not valid and to trick you in calling another number for where the payment is to be sent too.

Just got the same call, it rings on my end, I answer, then it proceeds to ring on my end as if I am calling someone, a foreign sounding man told me that I have been approved for X amount of federal grant money, I said no thank you please take me off of your calling list he said no, why would I do that, I said because I told you to, he said you can hang up if you want, I said after you confirm that you will be taking my number off of your list, he said he would NOT do it...i just put my phone on mute and he eventually hang up. SCAM! Blocked the number as well.

I just got a call from this number telling me i  have a free grant. I know it is a scam and I am going to start blocking all of these phone numbers.

I received a telemarketing call from this number and asked the caller to remove my name and number from the list.  She refused and told me she would call me every day.  

I received a call from this number on May 23rd 2014. I asked who it was and got no answer. I asked  who he was calling, telling him that he called me and should know my name. He said my first name When I asked what it was he wanted he laughed and said, "money! money!"

Someone called from this number and asked for Evvie. That's not me. I've gotten calls before from people asking for that name - it's no one I know and I've had this number for well over 15 years. I told them to take the number out of their database, not optimistic that they'll do it though.

I answered my phone and he asked my name, I told him and he hung up.

I received call from 800-111-3344.  This is scam do not answer any #'s they are using differents differents phone #' please check the #'s in the computer about there complains. and they are using differents differents company names to. please do not give your money to these kinds crocks.

Called talked so fast I could understand him I said im sorry like 2times n he said [***] it n hung up.

4 Calls in two days, all hours.

Got a call from this number, but when answering, it rang to another number.  Someone answered and told me that I was a lucky person selected by government from millions of people who are good citizen to receive a free grant.  The grant was about $8000 and no need to return. If you are selected by government to receive free money, you know this is a SCAM!

called telling me of a DC grant. 7800. asking for info on my accounts to send money to. Questioned identity of caller. Refused to give it to me. Aggressive and forceful. Insist on me giving my accnt number. When i refused she hang the phone up. Very strong chinese accent. Call number: 1800 311 3344

I just got this call and he was talking so fast that it sounded like gibberish. He said something about $7800 and i had to pay it.

I told the 8001113344 caller to send it to me in writing and that was the end of that.

Just received call from 8001113344 that i claimed calling from u.s. Govt geants and that i was chosen to receive free money $7,000 and that he needed to verify my info .. He asked for my zip code i said i thought you alreafy have info about me and just needed to verify he told me "just hang up ok"
Few mins later recvd another call from diff 800# saying same thing told him remove my nbr from their list he said he won't di that i just hang up

I just got a call from this number.  Non-native English speaker explained how the US Government selected me to get a FREE grant of $7800.  I asked him my name.  If he called me and I'm a winner he should know my name.  He cursed at me and hung up.  Number is now blocked. I know it's a scam but not sure what he was after...didn't get that far.

He would have asked you for some up-front money via some untraceable method before he could send you your "grant" money.

Just as others have said, my cell phone rang with this number coming up in my caller ID and when I answered and said "Hello," I heard a phone ring and then a guy named "Mike" answered telling me he was calling from the "United States Grants Office." I asked him to repeat it, and he did, at which time I said, "Please take me off of your call list!" He started cussing me out..."Please f***ing take me off of your f***ing call list..." I was appalled and hung up! I will block this number!!
