I returned a message that someone left inquiring about whether I represent a client about a certain debt.  The person who left the message identified herself as Andrea Carter and left a refernce number.  She did not state what company she was with nor that she was attempting to collect a debt.  Neither did the autoattendant inform me the nature of the call when I returned the call.  Only when I finally got to speak with a person and asked was I told that the caller was from SCSI.  Later in the call I was further informed that the initials stood for the following debt collector:

State Collection Service, Inc. P.O. Box 6250 Madison, WI. (608) 661-3000. http://www.stcol.com

I returned miss call that just left name and number, I don't know what kind of place it is, the auto message nor rep didn't indentify what they are even I kept asking. The caller was Tina SCSI, and just ask my number repeatedly argueing to pull out account, once again, didnt tell what kind of account. I just drop the call.

She didn't say what company she was from. Just gave me phone number and her name that's it. I can't get any personal calls at work and they still call. That's wrong to do to someone at work.

I know this as i am 14k in debt and sending them 300-1000 a month to pay my medical bills and then still call every week

Call once every 3 months or so.  Same recording.  "This is ___ at SCSI.  Please call back."  No idea what I owe.

Than let them know they CANNOT call you at work and you have the right to have NO phone calls at home as well.

They called me today but did not leave a voice message.

They just called at 8:20 AM om a Saturday.  Isnt it illegal to call that early?

I just had the similar thing happen, the woman talked so fast you could hardly understand her and she called my at my place of employment.  No collection agency can attempt contact with a person at their place of employment in the state of Wisconsin.  When I asked if I could take a message, she stated the call was regarding a business matter, rattled off the phone number and hung up.

are you sure that is the collection agency for SCSI?  I am fed up with them calling every day.. as late as 9 pm - they try a different time each day.  I am not in debt of any sort so this is complete BS.  I just want to know that this is the correct company to yell at.  thanks!

Got a call from them today. They had my name and cell number-I was just seen in a hospital. I had just paid the bill in full today-they were rude-the hospital said my account was never in collections-claimed to be a collection agent with my info. How can that be??????????????? Who are these [***] and how do they get my personal info. Does anyone know who I can report them to??? And how do they get my cell number. How do I block them from calling?

They called me for a 20.00 bill I am disputing. I paid it but the doctor's office credited my husband instead of my son. STill arguing to get it fixed. Then they call, so I informed that:

In the state of Wisconsin, you tell them not to call again. They can only send info by mail. Then notify them that they are violating your rights by calling and harrassing at work or at home. Then file complaint that this company is doing unfair collection practices if they continue.

You also could get a horn and blow it into the phone if they wont say who they are.......
When I answer and its dials a number and waits for you to answer for them to come on line. Then  I do wait for them to come on line and tell them, I wont give out any information or take a number unless they call directly. No automatic dialing making me say hello 3 or 4 times.

Yep, just got a phone message from one of their agents.  He only gives his name and number 1-800-207-6153, no other details and I do not answer unavailable phone calls.  Tell me who you are and what you want and you may get a better response from me or send me something in the mail and I'll take care of it that way!

These people call me repeatedly for weeks on end, then they stop for a few months, then they start up again. I have no outstanding bills in collections so I have no idea what they're after. But they are annoying as hell, I never answer anymore. I actually have them saved on my cell as DO NOT ANSWER!

Ive been getting calls from this place for a while. Initially, I had medical bills for a few hundred dollars and did recieve mail from SCSI. I paid $50 every 3 months for about a year. I figured it was paid off and now I am getting calls from this number and a Christine leaves her name and number and thats it. I havent answered since I started getting these calls. I see the number I know not to answer. Tonight I get a call from a blocked number and after I say "hello" this same woman asks for my name. I recognized the voice immediately and hung up the phone. I havent gotten any calls since and will not answer to a "Christine" who is not going to state where she is from or what she is calling for. CLICK!

They call at least 1 time a day and I have talked to them to set up something but they still call

They call once a day. I do not answer anymore. I told them I would pay when I received some documentation stating the claim. I never have.

i just started recving these calls today and i have turned my stuff into my debt consildation and they keep calling and asking for more money. this is BS and i am not sure what i am going to do yet.
