      Did anyone call back to see what this is about?  I got the same call.  No way to know if it is true except to call. However do not be a dummy chevk it to the fullest before you sign any docs.  I will report back after my call.

        Got the same message.  When I called back they couldn't give any details but wanted a loan officer to call me back.  When they called again they still couldn't give me any info but wanted to verify information.  When I started pushing them w/ questions they hung up on me....... twice....

      i got one on my voice mail on August 31st.
      sounds like a recording.
      there's nothing to check out, this is a scam.
      OF COURSE THIS IS A SCAM.
      COME ON!!
      How many times has a person (janet with no last name) from the county records department (no county name given) called to let you know about a "special offer"

      I called the number and they want to foward you to a company called kirkland young who they say work on loan modifications for those in trouble with their mortage and they do have a web site which is www.elporto.com and it comes up to kirkland young web site. it says its a loan conslidation company and what i mentioned before

    Received calls about 1% 30 yr load from intra county something. When I called they have no details but want to get you to a loan officer. When I start asking questions they get angry and hang up on me.

      I think it may have actually been placed from 619-***-2422- when I called it i got a message that said- this is a private cell phone- please leave a message... hmmm weird!

        The 619-***-2422 number was on my missed call's list logged at the same time the person who left the 1 800 number message was noted on my voicemail- that is why I think they are related

    Received same recording from "Janet" in "county records department."  OF COURSE it's a scam, because my county clerk's office would not be offering me a mortgage, and my county clerk would be leaving me a local number (not a toll free number).  I'm definitely not calling back 800-210-4789.

    Got the same message, Janet from County Records Research Department stating I qualify for a 1% 30 year loan program. When I called back they couldn't give any details but wanted a loan officer to call me back. I asked if this is county Record office? What is the program? and they hung up on me....... over and over again.

    I just recieved the same call at my office today below is the message i recieved

    " This is  Janet calling From 'THE COUNTY RECORDS RESEARCH DEPARTMENT' uhh after reviewing properties in your area from what I can see here it looks like your property would qualify for 'THE INTER-COUNTY 1% 30-YEAR LOAN PROGRAM' It's IMPERATIVE that I speak with you as soon as possible as 'THE INTER-COUNTY PROGRAM' Does end soon so please call me back toll-free 1 800 210 4789, again that number is 1 800 210 4789 I'll talk to you soon."

    This message I found on my machine is ridiculous! Janet, with NO LAST NAME, from NO SPECIFIC COUNTY, etc....etc.....  Don't even bother calling back. The way the market is nation wide, you will encounter more creative ways mortgage companies/loan officers..etc. will attempt to process a loan.  Most are desperate....it's unfortunate, but they should change professions until it changes again in the next 12-15 yrs. Anyhow, bottom line, there is NO JANET with NO INTRA COUNTY 1% 30YR LOAN PROGRAM that's ending SOON!

    Yeah, it is totally a scam. I got the same phone call in Colorado and if everyone else is getting it in different states, its totally fake.

    I just got a call from "Janet" of the "County Records Department". I immediately checked this site.  Thank God for this site and all of you who post these messages! The number of scams being run is absolutely horrifying.
