800-214-5356

Who is this person?

Caller ID shows from "800 Service" automated message left acct # and to call 800-214-5356 but when we called that # a Mr. Young answered and was pretty rude and wanted to know why we were calling him.  Ever since getting a Comcast home phone we have been bombarded with crap calls.

Got a message from this # & the lady who left a message stated to me that this was not an attempt to collect a debt, but after reading these posts, don't think I'll be returning the call... Glad I looked it up on the computer first.

A man named Randy Stone left a message on my parent's home phone and said he must speak to me about a legal matter that includes my social security number.  He adds that his client is willing to settle out of court.
These calls always come in without identification.  Glad I looked up the number on here.  Have no idea what this is about.

Randy Stone called and left a vm on my cell phone threatening me with litigation in regard to my social security number and something about filing a 1099 against me?  Have no idea what this is about but I deleted the call and will continue to do so.

We also received a call from someone today that said that they needed to talk to one of our past work associates that we hadn't talked to in the past 12 years about a claim. He said that we needed to call Randy Stone at 1-800-5356 and gave us a reference number and a cell number. We thought it really weird. glad that we check on here to see that it is a scam some how.

This is from Commercial Recovery Systems Collection Agency, one of the sleaziest
collection agencys in the known universe. They will say anything to intimidate you into paying a debt that may or may not be yours, it doesn't make any difference. In all probability it's past the statue of limitations, doesn't make any difference.
They have been calling me for a year and a half for the woman that lived here five years and three tenants ago. It doesn't make any difference that she be a she, and I be a he, in their twisted and perverted logic, I am responsible for the debt.
Early on I ask for proof of the debt and was told that they didn't need to provide anything, after a certified cease and desist letter to end all calls, they continued to call, so I added call blocking to my line. The calls have dropped from 5-10 a day to one every other week or so, and I just add that number to the  list.
My first advice on any unknown or toll free callers is don't answer, Google it first, if it is a debt collector don't answer when they call.
Or if you are bored, have some fun with the objective being to leave them more upset than they would have left you.
