I received a call from Ryan today stating that he was calling on behalf of Microsoft. Nothing showed on caller ID. The caller asked to call back and left his extension.
I gave them my phone number when I downloaded a trial version of office 2007. I guess they were calling to make me purchase the full version.
No, they were calling to see if you had a business objective while doing the trial, and if you do, and do not have a rep they can help get you in contact with one.
they were calling to see if you can be assisted while doing the trial, and if you can, and do not have a rep they can help get you in contact with one. This is a service that Microsoft provides to businesses and if you are a business there are significant benefits to it. Providing you are a business for thy will do nothing for personal needs. I am a business owner and I will use them again whenever they will call. I had so much out of this service that I would recommend it to anybody. They will put you in touch with the real Microsoft. You would be out of mind not to take advantage of this.
I also receieved the number plus the caller's extension from Microsoft. This was left on my voice mail. When I retreived it, I call the number back. It was a voice message stating it was Microsoft.
I decided not to call back after using this site. Thank you.
Got a call today from this numbers. Caller said he was from Microsoft, calling about a truck show claimed I attended. I have not attended any such show. He said maybe I completed a drawing at a truck show. I said no I never fill those things out. He said ok and sorry for the call and hung up. Very strange new my first name??
I work for a west coast University, and got a call from "Nancy" at extension 4386. Left her a message and within 5 minutes came back to my desk to another message from her. Said she was on the east coast, used words like "Appreciate your voice mail message" and "looking forward to connecting with you". If this is a telemarketer I'm going to be irritated, and from what I've seen, it looks like it is. How she got my work information is beyond me, the only thing I signed up for at Micro$oft was beta testing.
But how'd they get my cell phone number? I always put my high school's phone number as a contact, my neighbor's address, and the name Akira when I have to sign up for crap.
At least they didn't call me "Sasuke", then I would really know it was a scammer.
I received two messages from this number with extension number 4043, I didn't get the name of the caller but I left a voice mail to call me back in a different number. They haven't called me back yet and then I tried calling again but no one is answering anymore. I don't know what they want, maybe because I attended some conference they sponsored.
