- RachelIts washington mutual
- CKthey called me and left a message for someone with a different first name but same last name...??
I called....said they were from Chase about my card...I do not have one...couldn't find any account via my ph#....so, they asked for my SS#...ummm....no...I do not think so...
This seems VERY suspicious... - mrslthey have called our house 3 times each time for someone who doesn't live at our house. When I called back they said they were Chase the first time- this time they said they were Sears. They said our phone number wasn't on their call list so they couldn't remove it. I told them not to call again or I would call the police. they asked for the phone number again which I gave them and they said it wasn't in their database so they couldn't remove it. They wanted to give me another number to call which I said I didn't want because how could they not have the number to call if they had just called and left that number? I called Sears and the Sears rep called the phone number and spoke to a "Lorena" who said she couldn't remove any numbers off the list and was suspicious enough that the Sears rep couldn't confirm that they were one of their registered people.
I am calling our local police department and filing an official complaint. Do not give these people any information!- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Debt collector
- ChrisThey have gotten the first and last name of an elderly volunteer working for me and they are asking her for her credit card number so they can 'help her' with her account. They are asking for her home number. Because they don't have this information, I did not relay the message to our volunteer at home. When I called the number back, they said they were CHASE COLLECTION AGENCY and wanted her card number or the number I was calling from. THEN they asked if she had a chase card.... SCAM SCAM SCAM

- hmkreceived calls a few weeks ago from "chase" in fact they called one day three times -- looking for a richard wagner. i threatened to call the police if it didn't stop. it stopped until today. they called and left a message which i couldn't understand ( chinese ???) so i called the number only to hear someone ask me for my credit card number. i said who are you? she said chase/washington mutual/bank. i proceeded to tell her i didn't have an account and she asked for my phone number to take me off the list. i smell a scam. i wrote to chase/wamu to report this number.
- Caller: chase/wamu/card services
- tpMust be scam. I got same deal: Left message about "urgent" matter regarding Chase/WaMu account. We don't have one. Called the real Chase # on the back of my card, and they showed no call or any urgent matter with my account.
- Phillipthey called me at a different phone number of where I don't live at all, and the people who live at that house number they called to told me they wanted me to call them. Is this a scam? They said it's about my bank...but the bank knows how to contact me not at a wrong phone number.

- Reverend Flash| 1 replyWhat's wrong with all you idiots? It's just Chase bank calling about a debt owed by someone who listed your phone number as a contact number....like, maybe you. I've taken care of bank business of my own at that number. It even says "Thank you for calling Chase card services" when you call it, so what's the mystery?
- Caller: Chase
- Call type: Debt collector
- Laila replies to Reverend FlashSir, only an ignorant person that doesn't inform himself about how stupid it would be to enter your 16 digit account number on an automated phone system would be the victim of a scam. Because if you know anything at all, no credit card company needs anything other than the last four digits of your account number.
I'm curious as to why you would search this directory of known callers. - Good credit card userI called them back. Claimed to be from Chase but wanted info from me and would not give info on who they were. So, I DID SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD DO. I called the number on the back of my credit card and spoke to the real Chase. This is a fraud, scam, low-life collection goons trying to either harass good folks or steal your identity. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION UNLESS YOU WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE OVER YOUR IDENTITY.
- Caller: Chase-Fake
- Call type: Debt collector
- MelissaThis is a scam! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION. Don't even call them back. If you're worried about it, call the number on the back of your credit card and ask if they have tried to reach you.
- KickerGot that kind of message as well but fr my magicjack #. They say theyre fr the Chase Bank.. but i dont have any acc on that bank..Im like.. *ignore* lol
- Caller: "CHASE"????
- PI got a call from 224-222-5000 asking for "David Flower". It sounded like a computer synthesized voice claiming to be "Brian from Chase Card Services, Customer Support Division". They asked me to call them back at 800-217-5964
As everyone should do, I called Chase at the number on the back of my Chase Debit Card. They said that "Card Services is closed today", (it's Labor Day) and that "800-217-5964 is not one of ours" They also said, "Do not provide your account number to anyone who calls. If we're calling you, Chase already has that information."
In short, it's a scam.- Caller: Scam

- Ohio momI received this message today to call this number (800-217-2533) about a problem with social security number... interesting the caller ID said it was 406-272-1323 calling. They were asking for someone who did not live here, although they were using a family member's first name. These people are scammers trying to prey upon innocent people - don't call back! We did this once and a family member ended up getting scammed out of almost $1,000 ... because they make themselves so 'official'. Chase / Sears / whoever is seeking to collect a legitimate debt would never leave a message like that! Hope they get caught and thrown in jail where they belong!
- Caller: no name given
- Call type: Debt collector
- JT MullinsA lady left a message saying this message was for me by first and last name ...she said her name and that she was calling about an "urgent business matter regarding your account" ... I've NEVER had a chase bank account or credit card ... and whats really creepy....they called my Google voice number ...I NEVER USE THAT NUMBER.
BEWARE---TOTAL SCAM- Caller: Didn't catch her name
- Call type: Scam suspicion
