This is a company in Philadelphia called ACS. I have the former number of a person they are looking for but when I tried to tell them I am not the person, he called me a liar and said he would never take me off their list.

This number also comes in as 1-215-320-0424 with the ACS8002200605 in the callerID

Collector threatened me with criminal charges because I was unable to pay at this moment. Tried to ask to cease calling and I will be mailing a letter with my payment plan. Told me she didn't care and didn't have to listen or abide by my request. Continued to threaten me with criminal charges and to sue me. Then tried to tell me I could not file a bankrupcy and proceeded to tell me why.  She was very rude and I tried to stay calm and talk to her but she kept interrupting me and just got really nasty.

very harassing, rude, all times of day and into late evening.

Person keeps calling but not identify name of business; just lists telephone number.

Just got voicemail from an Elizabeth Mattison at this number calling for someone with the same last name as me that I have never heard of regarding an "urgent business matter"  I sure hope this is the last call from them

Company does not identify themselves when leaving messages and they have now contacted my employer and left rude messages to contact them regarding a court matter.

I do not know who these people think they are, they call my residence at all hours ,morning ,late at night after 9:00 PM ,which according to the FCC is against the law. I have checked into these collection practices and have found out this also against the law.  Lets all band together to stop they in their tracks.

They need to be SHUT DOWN, and the only way this can be done is for everyone who has been harassed by them is to file a complaint with your States' AG offices and with the FTC.

repeated calls for someone Ive never heard of. Asked them to stop calling, but it just keeps happening.

whoever these people are continue to call my place of work, a dog boarding kennel, asking for a brian something or other, which we have never employeed this man, or even a brian for that matter. i have called this number numerous times and left messages to not continue to call here, it is a business number, and we have no idea who they are looking for. they call atleast twice a week and has been happening for about 10 months now. i'm really sick of it.

My boss just received a call from them on her number.  I am not sure where they are getting it, but they call and harrass me at work, and I know from previous collection courses, they cannot call here without receiving permission.  I don't know who they are or what they want.  This is ridiculous.

Anyone who receives a call from this organization can file a complaint with the Pennsylvania State Attorny General.  You may file your complaint online at http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/complaints.aspx

In your complaint, be as specific as possible.  Give the name of the Academy employee and his/her extension when possible.  I filed a complaint stipulating calls made to me past 9:00 PM.  

The only way to change the behavior of this rogue organization is to file enough complaints to the Attorney General.  When enough voices are heard, then REAL action (read: shutting down ACS) can happen.

I was told all because I didn't have 13,000 dollars to pay them they said something about taking me to court. They want to take me to court all because of money problems this past year.

So, she gave you legal advise? If she does not have a lisence to practice law, she could face federal charges if you persue. And threats on top of that... Horrible pot to stirr....

Do you fill out the Consumer Complaint form?

I have told these guys for the last 6 months that my ex no longer lives here. They do not get the picture and continually call. They have threatened to take me to court...which I find funny...if she doesn't get on the phone when they call. Only problem is, I am in Texas, she is in California.

They ask for a person I know, but I do not answer my phone. When I did the first time they were rud so I hung up.
