Left a message saying I need to call regarding a personal matter. No company name was mentioned. Might be a collection agency.

Called for the past 2 weeks; left message stating their name and to call them back.  Finally called them back today, it is a collection agency.  They are used for several businesses.  Mine was for the University of PA Ob/gyn.

Found this number in my missed calls.  Couldn't figure out who it was so I called it.  They would not tell me who they were or why they called.  They kept asking for my name and phone number.  I refused to give to them until they told me who they were.  They hung up on me!!!

They called my ex-wife and asked for me (we have been divorced for 12 years).  Knew the address and asked if I lived there.   She said "no".  The caller asked that she give me the number and to call back and ask for Mrs. Brown.

I should have mentioned; I never lived at the address that my ex-wife now lives at.

Had many calls for my son who does not live with us.  Has his own home.  They call everyday.  Won't give their company name, but was told to give him a message to call Cindy at this number - this morning it was Carter who called.

just got a call from them as well, i told them i wasn't there! the lady would not tell me who they were calling from and said it was a personal matter. i called the number back from a restricted number and all it said was 'thank you for returning our call, someone will be with you shortly'

Yes, I believe it's a debt collector. Lovely how they leave their company.

99% sure this is Accounts Recovery Bureau. I called and asked who it was and they refused to tell me until a supervisor came on the line and she also explained the represent many companies. SO I asked WHAT TYPE of company I was calling and she kept saying the represent many companies.
So I by coincidence I paid my outstanding medical bill just in the last week but they probably have not received it yet so they are still calling.
It was for a Univ or Pennsylvania Health System outstanding office visit bill. I usually wait until the bitter end trying to wait for the insurance to catch up the the medical office billing. :)
It was fun figuring out who they were! :)

Got the call too. Said to call Courtney back, no company name. It was also for Univ. of Penn. They MISTAKENLY (now it's my problem) reported a bill that should never have been sent. They let the agency know that it was a mistake after I called and straightened it out, but the agency still called after that. I called the agency, told them I knew who they were and told them not to call again. We will see. Good Luck.

Left a very brief message requesting a call back to "Carla" or "Carlene". The individual appeared to be in a hurry. The true identity of the caller was not provided.

I received a message that said "Hi, Angel...this is Elaine. Please call me back at 1-800-220-1622. Thanks." I don't return calls to people I don't know...especially when they don't even give a clue who they are!

They keep calling for Ernesto. I made them aware to stop calling my phone and my house. They stated theywill keep calling. I made them aware that Ernesto doesn't live here and hung up. Does anyone know the address to this company or phone number so I may sue for harrestment because even after I make it clear not to call my phone line they called again today MONDAY at 2:12 pm. I would love to sue the crap out of them!!!!!!

pay your bills and you dn have to worry about it

Well they keep calling my phone, and it is for the person who had the number before me. I stayed on the line yesterday and talked with a very rude individual and told them that this person no longer has this number, they just kept saying "give them the message", and " you need to"...  I do not need to do anything, but they need to stop calling my number.  They have alredy called back again today after I told them that the person they are looking for no longer has this number.  They are getting reported to the Attorney Generals Office this afternoon.

They keep calling me and asking for Jose Lopez, I certainly am not Jose Lopez.  If I answer I get immediate recording or if I call back same thing happens.  I tried everything, can't get rid off them.
Any suggestions are welcome!
