A male voice told me that there is a long distance call for me, than hung up. No name, no company, no hello. It makes you think that sometimes abortion is a good thing if it keeps idiots from crowding the Earth (:-). I understand that they are some creepy collection agency. Google this number and you'll see.

Some type of collection agency. Woman continuously calls for a Deborah. I have educated her 10x's there's no Deborah here and that I don't know a Deborah. I let her know that the next time she calls, I'm reporting her for harassment. That didn't stop her. She called one more time but didn't leave a message on the answering machine. I called the number back and talked to James, her manager. He said that he would have the calls stopped. That was a month ago. Guess what....SHE CALLED AGAIN!!! GRRRRRRR!!!

I keep receiving calls from this number and the man on the other end always yells at a 15 yr old and says I know she's there I hear her put her on the phone now. My daughter tells him I'm not home and he continues to say yes she is and I want her now. He hangs up and calls again and again and again and then givs up for a few days and calls again and the sale thing happens all over again. Please let me know how to stop this. I have no connection to the company he is calling about. Bonnie

Definitely a collection agency. I received a message at work to call back a Joyce. When I called back she took 10 min. to find out why she called me. She called to speak with a former employee of our company and because our names are similar she got me. She informed me she would remove this work number from her file to prevent future calls. Not a very professional company to say the least...

i worked for this company for 10 months. everything these people are sayin is true. we are told to call everyday, all day even holidays. they have 6 open lawsuits pending right now . they are rude . they tell us to PROBE children, which means get a  work # or  a cell # out of them. if someone hangs up on u, call right back and make sure they hung up on purpose, huh?. this company is full of schemes . they are a collection agency . they tell us to say we are calling from federal bond to scare people , but really they get in trouble for that, cuz they are not a federal agency. listen people, read up on the FDCAAP laws . get urself a lawsuit too !!!

I received this phone call 1/17/2008.  The person on the other line was asking for my husband.  I told him that he wasn't home and asked what the call was in regards to.  The guy said that his name was James and that he was calling regarding a collections bill from a company called SBC (now AT&T).  I took down his phone number and extension, the account information and even the address of the account.  I turns out that the address of the account is in our neighborhood.  I suspected my brother-in-law right away because he has used our address and phone number before.  Inadvertantly, during our conversation, I gave him my husband's social (dumb, I know).  I called our phone company right away and they stated that there was no such account.  I have to call their final's department tomorrow because they are the ones with information on accounts sent to collections.  The customer service rep advised me to call the collections guy tomorrow and ask him to send me proof of this account, the actual phone number, and a fraud package. I might add that the collections guy said that the account was sent to their agency 12/12/07 and that our phone company rep stated that she should have been able to pull up the account since it was so recent.  Moreover, she should have been able to pull up some account history under my husband's name or social but was uable to do so.

    'TROUBLE' on the line !
This place is the worst of the worst. Poorly trained ex-cons and dope dealers with your social security number.

When will the government require all collectors to be individually licensed ? As it appears to be a decent paying job that requires no certification.

Use caution when dealing with them. They think they can 'Talk the chicken off the bone'.

Send a cease and decist letter requesting, not 'verification' but 'validation'!

Good Luck to all - GODSPEED

These people have been harassing me for a while now.  They called me again last night at 9pm.  I told the gentleman that "now is not the time" as I was sleeping.  He got very nasty with me and was very rude. I told him again "now is not the time" and that just made matters worse.  They claim they are trying to collect on a loan, which was put through bankruptcy back in 1999.  They also send numerous letters in the mail.

We keep getting calls from this company and they are very, very rude.  They somehow bought a debt that had been discharged in bankruptcy back in 2002 and are trying to get some money out of it.  They call us at least once or twice a day. My husband has told them not to call anymore as have I.  We don't even owe a dept to the company they are talking about.

This company has been leaving messages on my home phone for somebody named "Robert," who I am guessing had my phone number in the past.  Seeing as how this has been my home phone now for 3.5 years, I usually ignore it, although about a year ago I called back and got the runaround from this place when I asked them to stop calling, but at that point they complied.  However, they've been leaving messages on nearly a daily basis for the last two weeks now.

Today, I decided I'd had enough and I called them, and dialed the extension for the person who had left the message ("William").  The call started off politely enough and he said he would remove the number.  I off-handedly mentioned at this point that I'd asked in the past and they had not complied.  I raised my voice just a bit since I'd called from my cell phone and was standing outside--I knew I couldn't hear William very well, and I was sure he couldn't hear me.  At this point he accused me of screaming at him and told me to stop.  I informed him that I was merely trying to get my point across, at which point he asked me the name of his company, and I responded back "SPCS Collection," at which point he said "Sir, we are SBCS Collection, and obviously if you don't know who you're calling then maybe you should pay better attention.  Now I will take your number off our list, and I am ending the call right now since I don't need to put up with this.  Have a blessed day."  I lost my cool at this point and used an obscenity I won't repeat here, so it will be interesting to see if they complied or not.  If not, I still have the message saved at home, so I know who I spoke with, their extension, and I will immediately ask to speak to a manger.  Obviously not the best solution, but I feel better now!

The same person whom I spoke with on 9/9 ("William" at ext. 4100) called back yesterday.  He was not at his phone when I called back and I had to leave a message--I referenced our conversation three days earlier and threatened to sue.

I doubt it did any good, and unfortunately I will probably now have to leave it alone and just let them call.  No matter--I'll be changing my phone number shortly.
