- cranky1Just called 1-800-221-8887---a female recording answered,
"NCO FINANCIAL, This call may be monitored or recorded for quality purposes."
Then I actually spoke to a woman-told her I had been receiving unsolicited calls from her company & if they did not stop I would contact my attorney. She replied she could not do anything without my phone#,I refused to give it to her-she also asked if my name was "John Doe"-I said I do not know -want to know-nor have I ever known that person-then she hung up on me. I called back immediately-spoke to a man who identified himself as Christopher Howlins, I repeated that if I got 1 more call I would contact the FCC, FTC,and my attorney. He would not let me talk-shouting that I had to give my #,he too hung up.Called a third time -same man, we had a shouting match, but somehow in between calls he had magically found my #-I told him again I would contact FCC,FTC&attorney-he said not to threaten him. I said something very insulting to him and he replied that's what they all say, can't you be more original than that. He also finally hung up on me.- Caller: N.C.O. FINANCIAL

- RockyVociemail recording. Important message. Trying to collect debt. Please call back and use refrence #. Don't owe any money.
- annoyed| 1 replyThis # has been calling me for the last two months. Same deal with the reference number. I refuse to call back b/c I know I have no debts. Ironically they contacted me the night after I checked my credit score. Not only do I know I have no debts, but my cell phone is still in my mom's name (I've had it for going on 8 years now) so they wouldn't be trying to contact me anyway. I worry though that if I call back and give the reference # it will allow them to continute calling me or something.

- bizaareI received two of these calls and yes, I also know that we are completely debt free... tried calling the 1800 number but got someone's full voicemail box and then a bunch of garbage instructions using letters instead of numbers... ( press *C for X, press * G for Y, etc.)

- MikeI started receiving calls about a year ago from them. After a month of non-stop calling, they stopped. Now it started back up again. Everyday, even on the weekends I would receive at least a call a day. Anyway, today I decided to answer it. I pressed a couple of numbers on the automated response and I got through to a real person! I started explaining that they have been calling me for a year and they have the wrong person and then he hung up on me!!! I was pissed so I called back and I actually got a different person who took me off the list... hopefully! :\

- very upsetthis number called and left various very rude voice messages on my answering machine. they knew the homeowner's name and claimed to be a collection company contacted by MCI. I immediately contacted MCI as not only did i not owe any money, but my account had been canceled. When I called back i was greeted by the most obnoxious man who proceeded to insult me and accused me of not having paid my bills, which according to him, i had probably thrown away by mistake. this "customer service" representative hung up on me and when i called back, no one would answer my calls. the following day i was once again bombarded with threatening phone messages.

- Annoyed professional in KSHave gotten several calls over last few days from this number. They leave a message that says they are NCO financial Sys Inc. and required by law to inform me that they're a debt collection agency. Left a callback number 800-221-8887 and a ref#. I don't owe anybody anything except a mortgage and vehicle loan, both of which I am paying ahead of schedule. Not only that, they're calling me on a company provided cell phone # that I've only had for two months.
Screw the scheisters. I just added them to my call auto-reject list.- Caller: NCO Financial Systems Inc.

- NancyI get calls from these guys everyday, even weekends. One day my son's phone rang and when he answered it was them, asking for me. I took the phone and they guy was extremely rude.
I asked why he was calling me on someone elses cell phone, he said he couldn't find a number for me. I told him not to call this # again and he said that unless I give him my # he has no choice.
He said he was calling about my AMEX card... I don't have one. He ignored me, saying I need to pay my bills. I again told him I don't have nor ever had an AMEX card. I told him to send me this in writing, he said they already did that and I must have just thrown it away.
He asked me for a fax # to send me another copy. I told him I don't have a fax and he said that I was out of luck.
I ended up hanging up on him.
My son told me that he had been getting calls like this for about a month. He answered a couple calls and they asked for me. He told tnem this is not my #. He said they ignored him and went on to tell him in detail why they were calling.- Caller: NCO Financial

- alamedean replies to annoyedRemember: Whoever/whatever is calling you will have caller ID. You call, they confirm/get your phone number.
- alamedeanI've been receiving calls from this number daily, sometimes twice a day. I have spoken to a woman (who was rude, shouting at me over the phone). I have gotten the "NCO Financial" message. I've also gotten a weird message that includes my first and last name, along with a reference number. The fact that they seem to know my name scares me. I am ignoring these calls.
