We are living in UK.
They even called us twice in one day.
I dont know who they are, so I search this number in the web and found this site. - jem| 3 replies"I'm telling you to get your bankbook"
I can't believe she actually had the guts to say that!

- KevinI just got a call from this same #. I constantly get calls asking for a Mr. Browning from various numbers. I always politely tell them that they have the wrong number and even explain that I do receive calls from other companies asking for the same person. After having told him that he has the wrong number, the young kid on the phone asked, "Then what's your name boy?" I said "Excuse me?! Did you just call me 'boy'?! I told you that you have the wrong number!" And he said, while laughing, "yeah, I called you boy. You're a boy right? you don't want to tell me your name because you don't have a good name." I was furious and asked to talk to his manager. His manager said that they will take my name off of the list. That really isn't good enough for me. I am trying to find out what company this is so I can contact it directly.
- Caller: Medical something

- Mrs.Glenn Hahn| 3 repliesNo one was on the other end when I answered it and this unwanted call disconnected me from and important phone call with my son in Iraq.
- K. Nielsen replies to Mrs.Glenn Hahn| 2 repliesI just received a phone call from this number. The woman claimed to be calling on behalf of domain name services and wanted to confirm my information.
Her stated reason for calling was something incomprehensible about a server upgrade making online contact impossible on this "time sensitive matter".
I provided no new information (I claimed not to have a fax number when she asked for it) but simply confirmed that my street address and last name were in fact the ones that she mentioned (the information is publicly listed on my domain name registration). - NancyIt was a foreigner, asked if I on SS, told none of business, asked to verify my address, told none of his business, said was going to send me a new social security card. told reporting to Atty general ofc. claims calling from New York. I hung up!
- Caller: medial something
- Sam| 4 repliesCalled, left no message. I called back and there was a recording with a woman's voice (India? with British accent) asking for a 4 digit code, so there was no one to speak with. Many thanks to all who post on this site, as I would NEVER answer a call from this number in the future!
- Caller: Not Provided
- PA replies to jem| 1 replyI've gotten calls from both this and the 800-224-8606 within two days of one another. Both are poor quality, and have the same "offshore" sound, so I agree they're likely related. Each time I've answered, and they've hung up without saying anything.
- markNote 800 224-8606 and this number appear to be linked to the same people.
Same domain name purpose and fax requests as reported above. I have been called from both lines. - mercyseatGot a call from 800-223-9113 with nothing more than a maniacal "laugh" -- I called back immediately but it did not connect. I waited a minute or two, called back again, and a woman answered this time: "Reservations, Holiday Inn" I asked her to repeat it and she said she was from Montreal, Canada??? She said there were about 12 people there who might answer at that extension. I called again a few hours later (twice)and an "Indian" accented female recording said that I needed to put in a four digit code??? Who ARE these people and why are they calling me? Could they be linked to some porn phone sites?
- TomI've read all the pots on here and I did get calls from both numbers too. One of you confirmed information and another gave your name. You would be surprised how just one added or confirmed piece of info is all some need foe identity theft. As for the domains, I own several but used SecureWhois, Inc. It is a small fee but it keeps your contact information hidden. If someone truely wants to contact you about your domain name they need to go through channels and verifications and you choose if you want to contact them back. Your info is never directly given to anyone. Just FYI.
- DavidReceived call from 800-223-9113. Foreigner asking about my mortgage. When mentioned Do Not Call List, responded that he did not care about it...he was callign from international and it did not apply to him. Arrogant individual...sounded Arabic or Indian. Said he makes his money by telemarketings
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DKGot a call from woman with heavy accent pretending to be from my domain hosting site, saying that there are updates needing to be done to our account and she wanted information right away (i.e. credit card, etc). My wife was naturally suspicious and gave her nothing. So watch out, sounds like they try every angle....
- michaelvery rude!, said he was calling me because i was on the do not call list, told me to suck his *&%*!
- Shad Bailey| 1 replyThey called my grandmother and told her they needed her checking account number so they could protect her social security benefits. She refused and they agured with her and then I got on the phone and they started yelling at me because I would not give them any information. I prayed for them and told them if they continue to call and try to cheat seniors they would burn in hell..and then I hung up on him. He called back and told me that I had no authority to pray in Jesus name and that I had my Bible verses wrong..and then told me that my grandmother would be sufferring dire concquences of not receiving a social security check because I would not give him the information on her bank account...I hung up and he called again and yelled that I better not hang up..I told him I was turning him in for fraud and that I own a telemarketing companey and I am licensed minister and I know that he is breaking the law..he said that he was with social security...and I hung up on him.
