They left an inoperable number and name - Kimberly York - 800-224-5915.  I traced that number to another via this post.  When I called, they immediately asked me for my credit card account#, then my social, neither of which I provided.  I called my card company and they report that they are not affiliated with either number nor NCO Financial and had me report both to my state police and the FTC. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO

Has anyone had any charges come up on your phone bill after calling this number. I called and was on hold for several minutes. I was given 800-224-5915 and was told to talk to Kimberly York. They said to reference a code that they left on my answering machine as well.

NCO they are "freakin" SCAM MASTERS. Do NOT answer the phone, ignore them, put them on the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!  Get Caller ID or screen your calls with an answering machine.

They claim people have  a debt and it is not even on their Credit Report. If it's not on the CR, DON'T PAY IT.

If it was a real debt, it may have been settled long ago for something like 50 cents on the dollar and they are trying to get the rest of the original debt so they can make a percentage - some extra money for them...

They are hoping you "forgot" that you paid the debt off or settled it. Believe me, each time I "re-fied" I was forced to pay these old debts from the early-mid 1990's off. I KNOW all of these old debts are paid off.

If your debt was settled, and it was closed "paid as agreed" they have no way of collecting on that "ancient" debt. They use scare tactics and try to trick you in believing that you "missed" just this one debt. Believe me, you don't go 10 years with unpaid debts. You WILL NOT be able to get a loan, get a mortgage, etc., if there are unpaid debts. So the ***holes at NCO are "dredging" up old "stuff" from years ago....
