FBI, investigates crimes at the federal level.

I've gotten a call from this number several times and didn't answer. When I called the number back it was indeed the FBI. So when that number called me again, I answered. It was a guy who could hardly speak English and he said he was calling from The Canadian Pharmacy trying to sell me any kind of prescription drugs.

Hung up did not leave a message, phone indicated possible spam. I blocked the number.

It appears to be a number to call if you had any visual info back in 2013 about the Boston Marathon Bombing.  I can't understand why they would be calling me from this number though now? Maybe they discontinues use of this toll free number and it was reissued to some scammer?

Why they call speaking Spanish?

Maybe because they're in a different country and the number is spoofed?

Last friday i was texting with this phone number(747)248-4839 is related  to a girl in the" el clasificado los angeles"then a guy called me that he was from the fbi speaking spanish.

Got a call from a foreign accented male claiming to be Peter Brown, special agent to the DEA (ID DB4205) telling me that I had a case filed against me and that I had to call the FBI at the above number.  Number is legit and I think they give you that when you start asking them too many questions they cannot answer.  Got a similar call from the Sheriff's department saying I missed Jury Duty and a summons was out for my arrest.  Got info (all fake from him) and found out that they were simply trying to get you to pay something over the phone using your credit card and if you don't, they feed you fake info as they know you are not playing their game.  Try calling the number from where they called and they no longer answer it... such jerks who waste our time but more concerning are the victims who fall for this crap.

I just got this call but they left no message. Comes up with FBI but obviously it's not. I was just issued the number after changing my home number. I think I may change it again. Non-stop garbage calls to my new number.

Called about 5pm.  Did not answer. The voicemail was a hangup with noise in the background.

Wow the scum are still calling.  CID Us GVT DEPT JUS.  I pray no one is dumb enough to fall for this.  NOt sure if reporting it to the FCC would do any good as it is a legit FBI number.  Maybe if we report it, they'll inform the FBI and then THEY will go after them!!…….. Ha, ha ha ha....

So, got a call from a local spoofed phone # about Chase CC.
I usually ignore these calls, but the end of the day and I am already annoyed.
the usual CC scam from India.
Get annoying Indian guy then the second guy. They hang up on me as I keep saying I don't have any CC's.
the Second guy Max Wilson was the name he provided (fake) then calls from  800-225-5324.   He seems to just want to talk - Creepy yea!
I hang up and block the # and he tries to call back, it is blocked and done with that.

Seems as if this guy was sniffing around for my personal info on the internet or whatever site they have.
They do have access to my #, which can then lead them to name and other info.

Yet one more reason to ignore these stupid calls.

When oh when will the Phone Companies or Govt. take action against these scams!
