- SFN8TVI used them once. The medication I ordered were for the brand medication, coincidentally for a prescription drug manufactured by a pharmaceutical company, domiciled in Canada. I had been taking the brand drug, then switched to the generic (because it is the same...), then found out later the generic did not work as well and my health insurer covered the brand drug for several years. Surprise, 2015 they said no more. While I was fighting them, I ordered my meds from Canada Drugs. When they arrived, the pills themselves did not look at all like the "brand" drugs received here in the US, they looked more like the generic drugs. They did not have the same "stamp" which had the full name of the drug spelled out on the pill. The on-line ordered pills print was abbreviated in faded dye. Questionable to say the least. After taking them for one month or two, I won my fight with my health insurer and started to retake the brand drug again with the full name stamped on it. There was an immediate difference in the strength of the medication. I don't know what could explain this, but when the pill I received was similar to the generic I had taken previously and it didn't look at all like the actual "brand" pill that is shown in all the pictures I have seen, then there is room for suspicion. I may be wrong, but I hope Canada Drugs is not like a telemarketer that works with various pharmacies or distributors and doesn't actually have any monitoring or quality control of what is actually being distributed. The number of emails and phone calls they do to follow-up if you didn't put through your order and to follow-up on your refills. And wanting to get paid by check versus credit card was another flag. I have heard nothing but good things about them, but there may be areas where things may slip through. I might just be so sick of telemarketers that I am overly suspicious and distrusting because there are too many scammers out there trying to get us. I hope someone will not try to cut corners, they do it all the time here and the FDA doesn't catch it and the online company's are the hardest to police. How many internet addresses are there for these drug companies? Anyone have any other ideas why the pills would look different? When my health insurer said no, I contacted my state department of managed health care and filed a complaint. They looked into it and it took several months, but they already had an on-going action with the health insurer who was not the only one. After one call from the state, my health insurer realized they hadn't matched up my records from 2014 to 2015 and reauthorized my prescription...imagine that! From wanting me to pay $1,000 a month out of pocket to suddenly covering my two prescriptions at a $25 copay each? They had all the paperwork to match up my records before the State contacted them. When you receive the "Grievance" notice in your declination letter, follow through with it. Most people don't. They will tell you the generic drug is the same. It isn't. Ask a pharmacist. They have to be within certain parameters but they are not the same. They react differently, they are absorbed differently. The FDA does not test every drug. The FDA tested a lower strength of this medication I am taking, but not a higher dosage for one generic pharmaceutical manufacturer. Later, they found the manufacturer was not producing the higher dosage at the required formulary. The FDA recalled the generic and stopped the manufacturer from producing the drug. This is after the drug had been approved by the FDA and met the FDA's guidelines which is what the health insurer relies on. People don't realize (and I didn't) that a medication may be making them feel off or isn't working and it is because they were switched to the generic from the brand. I didn't know until my doctor gave me extra samples of the brand that she had and I took it for 4 months and I noticed a difference. I had wondered whether the change to generic might have made me feel different, but then dismissed it. Health insurers contend they are non-profits. They are non-profits because they use up all the profits on their high paid executives because they surely are spending what they charge their customers on taking care of their customers because they are narrowing the scope of what they cover and there is more of what isn't covered and what we have to pay and share in the costs. Make them pay for what they should pay for so you don't need to go to an on-line pharmacy. Anyway, enough ranting, sorry about that.

- KazJust started using Canada Drugs. Med's are one third the price of US. Got them less than a week after ordering. They work just like the stuff that's 3 times more expensive. Very pleased so far. US drug companies are white collar crooks.

- just someonei didn't get a call but someone gave me their phone number and web address. when I went to the website it's been seized by US FDA. so I'm guessing they don't exist anymore. I'm guessing they were selling counterfeit drugs especially considering the long post above. www.canadadrugs.com
