OSI Financial Collections???

This person keeps calling my cell phone and that's illegal!!!

is there a way to block that number?

I received a call from 800 237 1213 claiming to be NCO, which is a collection agency in Anchorage, AK. They were claiming that we had an unpaid bill from '93-'94, which I know we paid just a few months ago. I checked my bank statements and the payment that went out listed a different phone number for NCO.

I believe this is a fraud attempt. If it's not, and it's really NCO, I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and demanding that the people NCO was collecting for use a different company.

I've been receiving calls from this number for several months now, but I've never talked to their "representative".

I did, however, check my credit report and there are no outstanding accounts anywhere. I don't know if this is identity theft or simply fraud.

I've been receiving these calls too over the last 6 mos.  I have no outstanding debts.
