I got a called from this number and I answer.I stated may I ask who is this and they hang up the phone.

This number called me. No message. Called it back.

Asked if I had any student loans.

Typical scam trying one of a few tactics to steal your information and funds:

1.  Debt consolidation loan that you have to pay a fee for
2.  Fake payday loan debt with threats of obscene penalties
3.  They want you to pay for information on fake government grants

Hang up and don't think about them

I received a call on my work number for 800-239-3181-Student Loan Relief asking if I wanted to consolidate my $33,000 worth of student loans.  I promptly told her I graduated from college in 1980, have no student loans and wanted to know how she received my information.  She said she does not work in marketing and does not know how they get the numbers.  I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred to Nancy.  She was very polite and offered to add my number to their do not call list.  I thanked her for this effort but let her know that I have an attorney on file to settle my late husbands estate and would be glad to add a telephone harassment suit.  

They keep calling but i always ignore them

Got a call from this number stating that I requested information on Student Loan Forgiveness. I stated that I did not request this information and they hung up before I could say anything else.

Thought I finally got these nonsense calls to my cell to stop, at least its 1-2 a month now instead of 90 in a day.

Recived a call asking me about student loan debt, problem is I have no outstanding student loans.. Paid for college my self working my [***] off. So sick of these morons calling.. Do not know how they got my number..

I received this stupid called everyday for the last 10 days. I have no student or any loan. why do they want to call me.

Just called them back. Lady I spoke to was very polite she promised to take my number off the list. Very friendly.

do what I do to all scammer calls.........I phone them back every 2 minutes n hang up on them  after I phone them  about15 times every 3-4 minutes they dont call   me anymore...try this......................

Well, they called BUT did not leave a message.  So, I blocked my number and called them back.  Then once I knew who it was I called back with my number unblocked.  I let the person know that someone had called from this number and she said yes does anyone in our house hold have a student loan.  Which at that point I said uh no (because noone here has a studen loan.)  So, then she said well it appears someone used your phone number then.  Then she said is your email address..... I said yes that is our email address BUT again I still do not know how you got my information.  We have been applying for loans lately NOT student loans just business loans.  So, I am thinking one of these companies must be selling our personal information as leads!  I told her to please remove me from their list and do not call me anymore.  She said she would remove me from their list!

Caller ID only says Toll Free. I called them back anonymously with my own number blocked, their own recording identifies them as "Student Loan Relief Center". I haven't been in any school in decades and have no old unpaid student debt.
They are persistent callers to someone that has no student debt so I'm erring on side of caution that they are a scam.

They called claiming to be student debt foriveness ppl. I fell for it till they ask for my credit card number. At that point i told them i had to research the phone number online and he hung up. I am alerting all credit bureaus, changed my student pin, and contacted the police to make a report. So they can use my ssn if they think they can...the fbi is waiting on them.

Big Scam they call me all the time. They never give up. If you applied for any online loan they stole your information.

They left no message. Added to my reject list.

Received a call from this phone number today on my cell#; no VM was left.  Will report it to the DNC listing along with the FTC and block them from my phone.  Tired of these scammer calls...........

In waiting for the scammers to try in use your SSN# , just wait until you go to file for 2014 Federal or State Income Taxes this next Jan. or Feb.  That's where the scammers, get ya.  They will steal your tax refunds as their own, leaving you without funds for up to 6-8 months past April 15. The local police, FTC and IRA reports you will need to file, explain to all your creditors, that your SS# was stolen, and you will need to change all your bank cards, credit and savers clubs cards, anything and everything connected with your SSN, just to keep the thieves from stealing any more of your funds. Asked them to take me off their list, they just hang up.  Asked them their information, they hang up.  NOT A REAL COMPANY HOW CAN THEY NOT BE TAKEN DOWN??
